FLORIDA TILE proudly introduces Pietra Art Slate II.We’ve
added sizes to the four existing colors and additional complimentary colors.
The versatility and affordability of this natural product
offers unparalleled creative potential.This classic stone
brings a timeless beauty to any setting and is unmatched in
durability. One of the many appealing characteristics of
slate is the wide variety of colors. No matter the era or
current trend, slate never goes out of style. Once properly
installed, your slate floors, walls or countertops will last
virtually forever. Years later your slate installation will look
as new as the day it was installed.When sealed, slate does
not wear, burn, stain or fade - repair costs become a thing
of the past. Slate floors require little more than an occasional
sweeping and damp mopping. Periodically a sealer can be
applied, which will bring out the slate’s naturally rich colors
and further ease its upkeep. (See manufacturer’s

Slate is a soft porous stone, surprisingly comfortable to walk on
in shoes, socks, stockings - even bare feet! The porosity of slate
adds another surprising benefit - warmth. Slate floors retain
heat, rather than reflecting it.

for all residential and commercial wall applications,
residential and light commercial countertops and floors.

• Since Pietra Art Slate II is a natural stone product, no claims will be accepted for
variations in shade or appearance.
• To maximize the life of any natural stone floor, regular application of a water based
penetrating sealer is recommended.
• Pietra Art products are 100% natural stone quarried from mines of solid stone.
These stones are then cut and readied for the flooring market. No two pieces of
natural stone are exactly alike. Although we make every effort to ensure consistent
color variation, there is a large window of variation that is completely inherent in
the production and distribution of natural stone products.This variation is what
gives natural stone products their distinctive appeal. No two installations will look
quite the same. Each will have its own unique look and feel due to the uniqueness
of each and every piece of stone used.
