A 2008 study of 200,000 calves sold in North Dakota,
Montana and South Dakota shows solid black calves
brought the highest prices— a $3.39/cwt. premium.
That’s the power of a registered Angus bull.

REducE Risk.
Add VAluE.
A registered Angus bull does more to make your business better.
A registered Angus bull is much more than another bull.
He’s a risk reducer, a quality builder, and a product enhancer.
With the world’s most comprehensive genetic evaluation system
standing behind him, he has built-in predictability—and that reliability is
the cornerstone of reducing risk.
Genetic trends show his calves will be born easily, requiring less
labor. They’ll grow rapidly and efficiently, and you can keep his
daughters as replacements.
When it’s time to sell his calves, they’ll command more than just buyer
interest. They’ll bring more premiums and put more dollars in your pocket.
Best of all, a registered Angus bull helps you raise much more than
just cattle. He puts your herd on track to deliver the industry’s highestquality beef—the Certified Angus Beef® brand—for consumers.
That’s the advantage of a registered Angus bull. Put one in your
pasture today.

ORIgen YOUR COMPLETE GENETIC SOURCE
The ORIgen difference..
ORIgen was created by breeders, for breeders to give them a market for their genetics
unlike any other system in the industry. The “BREEDER TO BREEDER” concept was
built on the vision of bridging the gap between bull owners and the marketplace to
give breeders direct access to the market and unlimited networking opportunities for
their genetics among other breeders. This service connects bull owners to the beef
industry where they can have a higher percentage of return and access to the largest
semen sales network in the
business while retaining control of their marketing strategy.
ORIgen has a STATE-OF-THE ART CUSTOM SEMEN COLLECTION FACILITY that is
designed for the ultimate care and handling of beef bulls. Bull care is our number one
priority; we follow stringent biosecurity protocol to protect the health of each individual animal.Origen
ORIgen takes pride in its expansive facility, which has four on-site barns,
each with its own indoor collection arena and lab. Surrounding the barns are long bull
runs designed for easy flow, low-stress handling, exercise promotion and protection
from the elements. Bulls collected at ORIgen also have the advantage of being viewed
by potential customers through staff-guided tours.
ORIgen is one-of-a kind. Experience the ORIgen DIFFERENCE – contact us today!
