Formerly a 1970s-style galley kitchen, the remodel of this space included
the removal of a wall, opening the kitchen to the dining room. The new
kitchen’s design reflects the home’s exterior, which features exposed
cedar beams and a tile roof. A custom-constructed island hood, accented
Saltillo tile flooring, custom knotty alder cabinets and a Talavera tile
backsplash highlight the renovated kitchen—dubbed “MexiCocina” by
the USI Remodeling staff, who claim that “the margaritas are smoother
and the guacamole is tastier” in this new space.
