Dear Mr Rzepka,
WACEE '13, the 2nd West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference will be held
from 12 - 14 November 2013 at the Accra International Conference Centre in Accra, Ghana.
West Africa's leading energy show will be jointly organized by AHK Ghana, the Delegation of
German Industry and Commerce in Ghana and the German trade show specialist fairtrade from
Heidelberg.
By official letter from 28 August 2013, the Ghanaian Public Utilities Regulatory Commission confirmed
the introduction of feed-in-tariffs (FIT) for electricity generated from renewable energy sources. The
rates take effect from 1st September 2013:

Ghanaian-German Renewables Business Forum
"Setting the Ground for Sustainable Energy Development"
During WACEE Ghana’s attention is focused on renewable
energies and environmental technologies. This provides an
attractive framework for the “renewables – Made in Germany”
initiative. The Project Development Programme (PDP) will thus
organize a renewable energy conference at the venue of the
WACEE. This conference will start in the afternoon of the first
exhibition day, after an official opening ceremony and a guided
exhibition tour in the morning.
