brand for Digital Video over IP. During these years, the onSafe product family has experienced significant
developments in performance, number of components and ease of operation. While the breadth of usage by
our customers has expanded we have maintained our enhanced reliability, scalability, flexibility and
intelligence as our hallmark.
Today our customers are in various countries and in all sectors of activity (banks, underground rail, railways,
highways, prisons, ports, airports, factories, oil pipelines, hospitals, corporate headquarters ...) with facilities
of all sizes (from a just a few cameras to more than ten thousand) demonstrating the quality and robustness
of our systems.
In addition to providing our standard equipment to meet the needs of the digital video market, Lanaccess
offers the possibility of adapting or developing new systems to meet the emerging demands of the projects

onSafe VVMS ( Virtual Video Matrix Service) is an
advanced set of tools designed to administer and
manage CCTV installations in a completely
centralized way , equalling the performance of the
traditional analog matrices in the digital video
environment , from the basic operation of sending
the camera to the monitor, to other more advanced
activities like camera sequences or resource,
permissions and priorities management.
onSafe VVMS can manage all the elements or
resources that are part of the installation (Users,
computers, monitors, cameras, tasks, inputs ...)

Integration and administration of alarms
The ability to process alarms is vital to achieving a performance level and optimal response time when any
event is produced.
Lanaccess Telecom has tools for receiving and processing various types of alarms: contact, motion detectors,
buttons, video motion detection, intelligent video analysis, alarm panel alarms, etc. The alarm processing
interface allows direct access to real time or recorded video from a camera associated with the alarm, in
addition to other tasks such as sending e-mails with information about the alarm or attaching other
information to the alarm in question.
Lanaccess VCRs and encoders support the connection of the alarm panels (Galaxy, Aplex ...) to offer
integrated alarm and video management, and allow bidirectional remote control of the alarm panels through
the corporate network.
In addition, Lanaccess Telecom systems are integrated into the alarm reception and processing platforms
from other manufacturers.

onSafe MPEGx IP video
Encoders / Transmitters
These onSafe MPEGx family components are
multi-standard (MJPEG, MPEG4 formats) encoders
and video transmitters for video surveillance and
high performance CCTV systems with VHS or DVD
quality,
supporting
various
transmission
bandwidths and resolutions
They are embedded systems that offer high
reliability, low consumption, high availability and
a rapid restart time.
Encoder cards can be inserted into the
Video onSafe Rack chassis
There are various models and formats of
encoders, which accept
fully distributed
architectures, including ring topologies and fibre
optic transmission, as well as centralized highdensity architectures.
The encoders are multiprocessor systems, with
processors dedicated to different tasks, such as
video
preprocessing,
compression
or
communications thus avoiding crossover effects
between them. Some models also support a DSP
module for intelligent analysis on the encoders
themselves.

onSafe video recording
Stand alone Video Recorders (DVRT)
The onSafe XM network videorecorder is a high performance multi-standard digital recorder-transmitter with
qualities from VHS+ to DVD, which can record and transmit from all the cameras up to 200/240 fps.
The onSafe XM encodes PAL/NTSC video signals from 4 to 32 cameras to MPEG4 and MJPEG formats. It
offers text insertion in the video and includes video motion, sabotage and loss of signal detection. Optionally,
intelligent video analysis features for up to 4 cameras can be added.
Locally operated and configured using only a mouse and a
monitor. It will show the cameras in real time and the stored
recordings. It can also be operated remotely via IP networks
through the onSafeCS Plus application .
It has capacity for simultaneous:

Network Video Recorders (NVR) in Windows
The onSafeSVG digital recording system can store and play video and audio sequences, using standardized
formats, and providing high availability (redundant power supply and network connection, RAID disk
configurations and backup between recording equipment).
The onSafe SVG is an open platform and compatible for recording any video stream and optionally audio
from a normalized video server with market standards, including IP video cameras or encoders from the
onSafe family of products that are received through Ethernet ports via unicast or multicast, and stored in
hard drive arrays.
The recording can be carried out continuously or via events, in the latter case recording orders can come
from intelligent video surveillance systems and alarm management systems.
Through simple and intuitive search procedures
the system operators can quickly access to the
stored video to easily perform their event
identification and processing tasks.
Lanaccess offers 4 disk embedded equipment for
small installations and up to 16 disk platforms for
high density installations

Intelligent video
analysis
onSafe Telecom Lanaccess equipment incorporates
intelligent video analysis as a response to the need
to provide analysis tools for automatic real-time
detection of activities that affect security.
The use of intelligent video analysis enables
operators to be free from the tedious task of
monitoring massive amounts of video, by focusing
their attention on incidents that the system has
automatically detected and presented, distinguishing
between potentially dangerous activities and
irrelevant events (e.g., trees moved by wind or
waves breaking on the beach).
These algorithms represent the natural evolution in
administration of security systems and provide
multiple benefits in the complex task of monitoring
and controlling videosurveillance and CCTV
systems.
The video content analysis in the onSafe equipment
is based on Objectvideo ® technology, a global
leader in content analysis, provided through simple
rules defined in a graphic environment:
