A simple procedure
1. Inspect
Make your own visual inspection of your tools to
determine which drills can be reconditioned.
2. Contact us
Fill out the reconditioning order form
(www.sandvik.coromant.com/reconditioning) or call your
nearest Sandvik Coromant repre­sentative or distributor
for further instructions regarding shipping of your tools.
3. Pack and send
Pack and send your drills according to the ship­ping
instructions.
4. Technical inspection
Your drills will go through a technical inspection to
determine which ones we are able to recondition. The
tools that can not be reconditioned will be sent back to
you.
A fast return
Your fully reconditioned drills will be returned to you within
two to three weeks.

A tip for your visual inspection
Determining which tool can be sent for reconditioning is not an easy task.
We have two recommendations for you:
• Flank wear: maximum 4% of drill diameter
• Margin and crated wear: maximum 1.0 mm (0.04 inch) axial wear/chipping
