of the weekly party Zizek Club inspired
the creation of ZZK Records, an artists collective that serves to facilitate the
innovative dance sound that has grown out of the Zizek brand. With two recent tours
of the U.S., Canada and Mexico that included a stop at SXSW, Zizek launches new
releases and readies itself for an upcoming European tour.

Pibe Cosmo is the first effort from producer El Remolon who brings a minimal techno
sensibility to digital cumbia and electro reggaeton cuts. Tracks with field recordings of tribal
chant alternate with orginal beats that underscore vocals by legendary Argentine artists
Pablo Lescano of Damas Gratis and Ale Sergi of Miranda, along with underground favorites
Fauna Blitto & Vanesa Strauch.

jungle, drum & bass, IDM, and breakbeat. The producer/MC duo from Mendoza wine country
brings the party where dancehall and drum and bass morph into cumbiatown bliss. A
rhythmic and rambunctious lyrical flow sets the tone of the party blasting bass from the
Andean border.

Chancha Via Circuito drops his debut album of introspective compositions that bring the
neighborhood marching band collective to the digital cumbia realm. From mystic chant and
machete sound bites to big club anthems, Chancha’s renegade locomotive of sound runs on
smoldering coal and urban fumes, bringing country goods to city dwellers hungry for fresh
