Premiere and exclusive VIP events are THE NEW YORK FAME, We will introduce you to breakthrough designers, brands and artists you won’t see anywhere else. Four exclusive events make up The New YORK FAME, preceded by four VIP press and industry only parties at some of the swankiest addresses in NYC. Emerging Artists Collection and Show Thursday, September 8th, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM & 9PM The New York FAME will showcase more than fifteen up and coming fashion designers exclusively from the United States. VIP Red Carpet Gala Friday, September 9th, 2011: 6pm - 7pm VIP guests, celebrities, press, designers, and artist will enjoy an evening of live musical performances and fashion, shopping and short film, exclusives. The FAME Silent Auction Exhibition Hall, Both days VIP guests, industry executives and other invited guests will have the opportunity to bid on one of a kind works of art, fashion jewelry and more. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Twin Towers Orphan Fund. 3 The New York Fame Advisory Board THE NEW YORK FAME's Advisory Board is a professional group of advisors, philanthropists and entertainers. Melisa Brown, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, THE NEW YORK FAME. Brown’s idea for “THE NY FAME” started while working at Apple, with her years of experience and success climbing the corporate ladder. Brown was known as a stellar employee that went beyond her corporate script. At Apple, Brown had the opportunity to connect with individual artists, creative businesses and anyone who was trying to explore creativity in the Fashion, Art, Music & Entertainment industry as a software specialist, working with corporate clients, celebrities and socialites. Brown trained celebrities like Maurice Dubois , Diana Ross, Keith David, and Maria Snyder , which ultimately led to the growing fashion empire she manages today. This was the beginning of the birth of “THE NEW YORK FAME”. Cathleen Lewis- MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTING With 15 years of experience in integrated global marketing, branding, sponsorship and activation in large agencies including BBDO, DDB Needham and Ogilvy and Mather, for clients such as Universal Pictures, AT&T and Kaiser Permanente. In 1998, she went client side and joined Hilton Hotels where among overseeing global partnership strategy, she was appointed to oversee Hilton Hotels’ Olympic sponsorship strategy where she remained until 2007. In the last few years,, she joined Vice President Al Gore and launched Live Earth, the global concert to raise awareness of the environment and global warming and has consulted with several high-profile startups including X PRIZE Foundation, Starbucks, TED Conference, Fashion Week and FUNN Networks among others. Jeremy Edwards - PRODUCER is the Producer/ Director of “THE NEW YORK FAME”. Jeremy Edwards Founder/CEO of JDV Productions,has over 15 years of experience doing outstanding work with Onion News, KMC Productions, NBC, Viacom, BET, MTV,VH1, Pepsi, Doritos; including celebrity clients like Yolanda Adams, Beyonce, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Joe and many more. Glenn Friedel works with a technique called a photogram.he lays live models on top of the paper, and exposes it to light in different and interesting ways...he's basically painting with light. Glenn has done more with this technique then anyone we've seen, ever! He incorporates multiple colors and exposures to create these brilliantly vibrant figurative works.
