Black Falcon Team finishes first
at the 24-Hour Race in Dubai
After a total crash during free practice on Wednesday, it took two nights of hard work
to rebuild the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. Nonetheless, the team achieved the pole position. “This success of the team, competing in Dubai as "Team Abu Dhabi by Black
Falcon" is a real motivation boost for the new season during which the team will also
race two Porsches 997”, said Neubauer. The Black Falcon Juniors sponsored by FUCHS
was represented by Steve Jans in Dubai, who finished 7th with the second Mercedes
SLS. Competing for the first time, the new Porsche with Christian van Rieff from
Cologne at the steering wheel, came in 28th among approximately 100 competitors.

Success for the Turon-Barrère Team
Michel Turon-Barrère and Didier Haquette came out on top in the Burgos rally raid.
“Just like in Zaragoza, the buggy proved to be both competitive and reliable.” This
victory says a lot about the motivation of the team, which has now committed to
taking part in the legendary Africa Eco Race.

Kawasaki Rock Star Bud Racing Team
on the start line to success
Since its creation in 2007, the Bud Racing team has established itself as a
familiar face in French championships and in the world of motocross. Following its four wins in 2012, the team has just officially announced that it
will take part in the 2013 world championships, competing in 18 races
including four in the emerging countries of Qatar, Thailand, Brazil and
Mexico. This is a major challenge for the team. “Dylan Ferrandis and
Valentin Teillet have already proven on several occasions that they have
the potential to break into the top five in the world. The aim now is to
consistently compete at this level”, explains Stéphane Dassé. The two
riders will once again be flying the flag for FUCHS Silkolene, as they look
to defend their national titles from 2012.
Four victories for
Valentin Teillet in Bercy
For the last three decades, the Temple of Supercross,
the Palais Omnisport of Paris Bercy has hosted the
winter season’s must-attend event for all supercross
fans. This year 15,000 spectators saw Valentin Teillet
from the Kawasaki Rockstar Bud Racing team dominate four of the six finals for 250 riders in the SX2
category at supercross 2012. The next meeting will be
held on 8, 9 and 10 November 2013.

fourth place finish in world
championships
At the end of the final race of the women's motocross world
championship in Teutschental, Justine was placed fourth overall. “My eighth place finish in the final GP helped me to hold
off the challenge from my closest competitor. I’m delighted
with my performance and am going into 2013 with some brand
new goals. After a few days rest, I’ll be ready to start my winter
preparations with the French team and ProStage.”

Following a successful year, FUCHS has reconfirmed its commitment to the Ginetta
G50 Cup and will once again be sponsoring the FUCHS TITAN race. The 2013 edition of the Italian cup, organized by FUCHS dealer Nova Race, looks set to be an
action-packed affair with no fewer than ten races taking place at legendary circuits
including Imola, Vallelunga and Mugello. The tour will also include endurance races
such as the Dubai 24-Hour Race, as well as races in Austria and at the Spa Francorchamps (Belgium), Nürburgring (Germany) and Dijon (France) circuits.

Frauenschuh Tuning
Riding high
FUCHS’s customer, Joseph Frauenschuh, is not only known worldwide as a reputable tuner, but also
as a fast and successful supermono rider. Since 1990, he has been competing at both national and
international level. Between 2002 and 2012, he clocked up 10 wins and eight second place finishes
in the Bergrennen Landshaag event. Since this mountain race was included in the Hill Climbing championship in 2012, Joseph finished runner-up in the European championship last year with two wins.
He also continued his domination of the KTM TNT Austria Cup over the last four years and confirmed
his wins in 2011 in the supermono ESA and supermono GSA. His aim for 2013 is to take home the

2012 Jeddah Motor Show
A convenient business platform
The 34th edition of the Saudi International Motor Show was
officially opened by Mufareh Bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, the
Director of Transport and Road Affairs for the Western region.
The event provides a dedicated platform for various international automotive manufacturers to exhibit their latest car models, spare parts, automotive accessories, navigation systems,
car care products, car audio and video systems, accessories,
finance and insurance services. ALHAMRANI-FUCHS PETROLEUM SAUDI ARABIA LIMITED took advantage of this international show to promote two of its flagship products, TITAN

The Riyadh Motor Show is back for its 29th edition, covering
19,482 m2 of exhibition space at the Riyadh Exhibition Center. In
2010, over 96,000 visitors attended the show, making it the mostattended Riyadh Motor Show in history. For buyers, the exhibition

that the automotive industry has to offer. The 2012 edition will

FUCHS Silkolene Summer Series
A great achievement
The Summer Series is the country's premier motorcycling event. It
is held annually over four days and attracts top international
riders from within and outside Africa. This year's Zimbabwe Summer Series brought together more than 20 international riders
from the United States, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and
Uganda. They were joined by all of Zimbabwe’s top motocross
riders, making this 2012 series one of the biggest held in the
country over the past few years. The two days of motocross action and two nights under floodlights for the supercross made for
a very exciting show for the many spectators and media representatives present. Paul Marais, an official FUCHS distributor, is the
main partner for this international event over three seasons. Each
year, the event provides an opportunity to highlight the FUCHS
brand and welcome many VIPs. “In 2012, we had two South
African champions racing under the FUCHS Silkolene colors.
Jayden Ashwell was crowned MX2 South African champion and
Tristan Grainger won the South African 50cc championship.”
