During assembly of a connection, the tubes to be joined are inserted into a union, up to an internal stop. The
assembly tool (FMSI #5131) is then used to apply pressure to the union, which compresses to complete the
connection. This is a quick and simple method of joining tubes that eliminates the fire hazards of brazing and
proper torque concerns of threaded connections, while producing permanent leak-free connections.

THE PROBLEM
When an A/C System has a major compressor
failure, some of the debris can be carried backward
through the compressor and into the low pressure
side of the A/C system. Flushing cannot remove all
of the debris. Damage occurs when the debris
loosens and enters the compressor on start-up.
