OKOUME VENEER WITH HARDWOOD CORE
This high-grade plywood with a superior B face and hardwood core is manufactured
using phenolic E0 glue. It is a high-quality ply that is suitable for internal linings and
joinery.
- Stable and flat with an attractive grain
- Takes stain, polyurethane, oil and paint well
- Can be V-grooved to give a tongue and grooved look
These qualities make Premium SmartLine Okoume Veneer Hardwood Core ideal for joinery,
furniture, shop fit outs and interior wall and ceiling linings. It is also good for
ply substrate under solid timber flooring.
SMARTLINE is a popular part of bbi’s range of domestic and imported plywood.
Note: This product is limited to non-structural applications. It is an untreated product and
while it is more durable than untreated pine, it is not suitable for cladding or external use.
It has attractive faces, making it an excellent choice for internal linings and joinery.

OKOUME VENEER WITH POPLAR CORE
This popular and economical lining ply has an attractive face.
The Okoume hardwood veneer is pressed onto a poplar core giving it an
appealing appearance while keeping the cost of the product to an affordable level.
- Cost-effective interior lining solution – no stopping or sanding required
- Pre-sanded faces take stain, polyurethane, oil and paint well
- Strong enough to hang shelving, tools and bicycles and takes knocks well
These qualities make SmartLine Okoume Veneer Poplar Core ideal for industrial
buildings and garages.
Note: This product is manufactured using E1 internal grade glues and is untreated,
limiting it to interior and non-structural uses. For joinery and higher spec requirements,
such as internal wall and ceiling linings in residential homes, we recommend our
Premium SmartLine.
