The beginning was micronization skill.
A successful concept of Micronization: An important milestone for continued development and future
strategy of 20 Microns happened when Mr. Chandresh Parikh MSc. ( Chairman and Managing Director) and
Mr. Bhanu Patel , (Paint technologist emeritus) started promoting micronized fillers to the Paints industries in
1988.

It was investment in expanding the micronization process and R&D facilities.
Further expansion in capacities by 17000 TPA
Acquired Calcite Mines
Implementation of Total quality systems
Further expansion in production capacities by 17,000 TPA
R& D division of 20 Microns becomes a separate entity by itself.
New manufacturing location installed at Vadadla with 18,000 TPA capacity.
New manufacturing location installed at Hosur( South India) with 15,000 TPA capacity.
Diversified Into Kaolin processing and installed a new plant at Bhuj.
Acquired Kaolin Mines and mining lease at bhuj.
Installation of Cryogenic super conducting magnet at bhuj site for kaolin processing.
Introduced a Pozzolanic material called “Metacem” as construction chemicals.
New manufacturing location installed at Alwar with 6000 TPA.
New manufacturing location installed at Tirunelvelli with 6000 TPA
Modernization and upgradtion of Vadadla plant to produce ultrafine calcium carbonates
Started manufacturing new products like Synthetic Barium sulphates, Aluminium silicates.
Started new generation processing aids to promote better dispersions for our customers.
