with the EICTA HD Ready standard, making it

Super ED Lens
Extremely sharp pictures and uniform brightness
are a reality with the unique Super ED Lens,
standard with the PJ-TX200. Thanks to this lens,
PJ-TX200 also optimises light use and lamp
efficiency.
10 Bit video processing
Whatever the signal, the Hitachi PJ-TX200
always gives you the best picture quality – noise
free and displaying an incredible 1.07 billion
colours with no colour break. This is achieved
using 10 Bit Video Processing technology. With
this capability, both standard and HDTV signals
give extremely sharp and detailed pictures.

Naturally Brighter
Naturally Easier
Projectors using 3LCD technology are up to 25%
more efficient in brightness, compared with other
technologies, such as single chip DLP*. This
means using a lower power lamp for a given
brightness, with less heat, less fan noise and
higher energy efficiency.
Colour reproduction in the 3LCD system is
completely natural, with the component red,
green and blue colours each handled by a
dedicated LCD panel. All three colours are
constantly being projected, as in real life.

If you combine the benefits of superior greyscale,
high brightness, high contrast and great colour
reproduction, you would expect a more natural,
more realistic-looking picture. With Hitachi’s
3LCD projectors, that’s exactly what you get.
The intricate pixel structure of the latest LCD
panels used in Hitachi’s 3LCD projectors is
invisible to the eye. Smooth, seamless colour
transitions, reproduce true 24 bit colour (1.07
billion colours in total) faithfully and convincingly.
As the images from a 3LCD projector are more
natural and more life-like, they are easier on
the eye, even after watching for a sustained

All Hitachi Home Cinema Projectors include a Motion
Adaptive Progressive integrated chip to deliver
progressively scanned video images, which are
smoother and more detailed than traditional
interlaced video images. This ensures no visible scan
lines and perfect pictures every time.
Motorised Iris Control, via remote
or on unit
With ten settings the Iris Control on the PJ-TX200
and PJ-TX100 allows optimum adjustment of the
projected light and gives more film-like images with
deeper blacks. As this is motorised, the iris can be
easily adjusted using the remote control, even when
the projector is ceiling mounted.
Super Focus ED x 4 lens
The PJ-TX200 and PJ-TX100 incorporate four ED
lenses, as well as a Super Focus aspheric lens to
eliminate colour shift and dramatically improve
picture quality. The superior projection performance
ensures sharp, clean images not only in the centre
but also in the corners of the image giving an
impressive 3D feeling to the picture.

Gamma Equaliser
The zoom lens featured in the PJ-TX200 and PJ-TX100
has the widest range of zoom of any projector. This
offers greater positional flexibility, without sacrificing
picture quality. It enables the image size to be
controlled, without changing the physical position of
the projector, and also enables the desired image size
to be retained, even if the projector is moved.
The Hitachi PJ-TX200 and PJ-TX100 models offer
Gamma correction and colour balance control in eight
and six steps, so you can make the image look just
the way you like it. As you make the adjustments, a
greyscale bar lets you confirm your status.

Perhaps you can’t accommodate the projector sitting
directly in front of the projector screen. No problem.
With vertical and horizontal lens shift capability, the
PJ-TX200 and PJ-TX100 projectors can be positioned
to the left or right of the screen, and even above or
below the normal optimum position, and still throw a
perfectly aligned image.
With multiple inputs the PJ-TX200 and PJ-TX100 can
display images from a variety of sources, including a
DVD player, VCR, camcorder, satellite receiver, and
even a PC.
All projectors come with four separate ‘My Memory’
picture settings. You can set up the picture
parameters, such as colour temperature, contrast
and gamma, depending on whatever you choose to
watch, such as sports, movies and animation. Each
can be saved for instant recall.
