Ten miles west of Cirencester, Stroud is at the centre of the Five Valleys and at the edge of the
Cotswolds. Here, the steeply wooded valleys wind their way back into the limestone of the Cotswold
escarpment, providing unexpected views and woodland walks. The familiar Cotswold landscape of
stone walls, rolling farmland and villages of golden stone gives way to the exhilarating high commons
of Minchinhampton, Rodborough and Selsley, with views across the Severn to the Forest of Dean and
the Welsh mountains beyond, while the valleys hide lakes and beech woods. Not surprising that this
is known as the ‘undiscovered Cotswolds’.
Five self-catering cottages in and around the pretty Cotswold village of Eastcombe, overlooking the
Toadsmoor Valley.

Brimpsfield is a small hill village in an excellent walking and touring area, well placed to explore the
beautiful Cotswold countryside with its busy market towns and pretty villages.

Large lounge, two bedrooms with vanity units and shaving points – and also the bathroom – are on
the first floor.
Use of shared laundry room, washing machine, tumble drier, sink etc. Cot and high chair, also
some aids for the disabled – raised toilet seat, bath stool etc – available on request. Prices included
full central heating and bed linen. Towels supplied for overseas visitors. Electricity meter for cooking
and supplementary heating. Use of double garage. Regret, no pets.

showing at major shows, and for a hobby we breed Welsh
mountain ponies which we also show.

Here you have complete freedom to come and go, rise
and retire, dine in or out. We are surrounded by an
extensive network of footpaths and bridleways so you can

country lanes. Or you may simply want to relax in the
garden or summerhouse and take in the surrounding
rustic scenery. There are some very good restaurants and
pubs in nearby villages.
Garden Cottage (sleeps 4-6) is set over 2 floors and

stairs. Single-storey Distillers Cottage (sleeps 2) is also

Tucked away in the rural village of Upper Strensham, The Parlour is a newly converted former milking
parlour in the grounds of Home Farm. Only 4 miles from Upton upon Severn, Tewkesbury and Pershore
on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border, it makes an ideal place to relax amidst beautiful
countryside.
With original beams and exposed brickwork, the unique character of this building adds to the
enjoyment of your stay. Accommodation includes a fully equipped farmhouse-style kitchen which
opens directly onto the lounge/dining area with wooden flooring, wood burner and TV/DVD, a
bathroom and 1 bedroom with a double and single bed.

and countryside. It has 3 twin bedrooms, bathroom, fully-equipped
kitchen/dining room and separate living room with TV, video and stereo. There

Set in the Staffordshire Moorlands, Hermitage Working Farm stands high overlooking the picturesque
wooded Churnet Valley, which is affectionately known as ‘Staffordshire’s Little Switzerland’ with its
canal wharf, meandering river and nostalgic steam railway. The Peak National Park is also on our
doorstep offering many walking and cycling trails along with numerous other beautiful and historic
places to explore.
Our cottages – on a 92-acre hill livestock farm – provide everything for the independent holiday
maker. These stone barn conversions nestle beautifully amongst the traditional farm buildings and
enjoy probably some of the best views in Staffordshire.
The cottages have been converted to the highest standards, blending modern facilities with
traditional ‘olde worlde’ charm. Utmost care and attention has been given to restoring many of the
architectural features of these 16th and 17th-century listed buildings.
