Campers will enjoy several
activities a day/week including:

On this page you will find the online version OR the written version that can be
printed out! Camp is an investment of
$190 a week. Campers may come as
many times as your wish. A $150 NONREFUNDABLE deposit is required to reserve
your spot for the first week. A confirmation
will be sent to you by email upon completion of your form. The remaining balance
is due two weeks before the start of camp.
Sacony Campground has many generous friends that
sponsor part of a campers fee who are unable to pay
the full amount. We want to see ALL young adults be
able to take part in our camp. If financial assistance
is needed, please call our York office at 717.854.1220

Sacony is located in the beautiful
woods of Berks County. We proudly
serve the highlighted areas!
CAMPERS WILL RECEIVE THREE NUTRITIOUS
MEALS A DAY. THEY INCLUDE HOT MEALS,
COLD CUTS, VEGETABLES, FRUITS AND
MUCH MORE!
We truly believe there is no greater cause
than changing the future, by enriching the
lives of our children. They will be our future
leaders, and our greatest hope is to get
them to understand the need for a moral
compass and a spiritual life. Our camping
programs vary, but it’s always about learning skills, developing character and creating
lasting friendships. Few environments are as
special as Sacony Camp, where kids come
from all walks of life. They grow to become
a community as they learn to be more independent and how to contribute to a group.
They’ll establish life-long
skills as they engage in
physical and social activities. Camping teaches self-reliance, a love
for nature and the outdoors, and how to develop trust and great
attitudes that will build
character and leadership. Our camp gladly
serves all children from
the ages of 10yr to 16yrs,
regardless of race, national origin, sex or social
economic background.
Our program offers a week (OR MORE)
away from the young adult’s normal life
and into the great outdoors! They can
expect fun activities that will not only
build skills, but also great new friendships! But the most important, they will
build character and values that will stay
with them for life. Campers will experience wilderness living, log cabin community living as well as learn the value
and the power of service to God and
others. Our programs encourage economic independence through employment, proper work ethic, fitness, interpersonal skills, reliability and a commitment
to what is at hand!
We are still one nation under God, but
we must step up to the challenges that
stand before us and the generations to
come by building character, morals
and faith in God, in these young adult’s
hearts. There are countless children
who receive assistance with food, clothing and shelter, but are NOT receiving
assistance with brokenness, hurt and
loneliness on the inside. We found this is
what they need most in order to break
the cycle of poverty and crime. At
Sacony Camp, we fill the voids by building Godly relationships with these young
adults and mentoring them for years at
a time. We teach them character, critical life skills and how to become better,
productive citizens!
Cell phones, tablets, computers, etc WILL NOT
