Printing Guidelines

DigiPOP Digital Laser Packaging media is available as gloss coated.
DigiPOP media is diecut packaging, mailing, promotional and
presentation products that use lift-off technology for guaranteed
runability and easy assembly.

Design Specifications
• Image placement should be within 1/8” of diecut & folding scores.
• We do not recommend placing an image over diecut or folding
scores to prevent void.
• After purchase, all print templates will be provided in a layered PDF
file. Other print files can be provided upon request.
• Where glue or tape may be required to complete assembly of part,
the following glues are suggested:
• Avery or 3M Purple Archival Permanent.
• Glue Stick.
• 3M Photo two-sided photo tape #924 or #917.

• Templates will show legend for “bleed area”, “die lines” and “safe

Care and Handling Instructions
• Allow product to acclimate to print room conditions before
opening package.
• Allow cartons to acclimate for 24 hours and full pallets for 4 days.
Print room conditions of 72°F and 45% relative humidity are
recommended.
• Handle the paper by the edges to avoid scratching, scuffing and
fingerprints.
• Product should be returned to original package between uses.
• Fan sheets gently before loading into the feed drawer.
Equipment Compatibility
DigiPOP has been successfully run by thousands of customers on
many of today’s most popular digital laser printers and even some
ink jet printers. Relyco guarantees DigiPOP media is free from defect,
but cannot guarantee runability in every printer unless it has been
tested and verified by the printer manufacturer.
DigiPOP media is cover stock, and most of today’s digital printers
have settings and feed/tray specifications to accommodate this type
of media.
All equipment runs differently and environments will also affect
runability and it is highly recommended that you test run samples
prior to full or final print run. Consult your printer representative for
settings on 14 pt cover gloss and 100# coated stock prior to print
runs.

Guide that came with your printer or ask your printer representative
for more details on machine settings.
1. Lift- Turn the sheet over so the artwork is facing downwards and
grab the release tab. Begin to pull away the film, just an inch from
the edge.

2. Peel- With one hand, hold the exposed sheet firmly in place. With
the other hand, pull the rest of the film in one swift motion.
After printing, the diecut product is released from the waste portion
of the sheet using Lift-Off Technology, not a standard mechanical
tear perf.

3. POP!- Turn the sheet over and pop the product out. Fold the
product along any built in score lines and complete assembly.

How To Use DigiPOP Template Using Illustrator
1- Open
Navigate to where you saved the template on your computer.
2- Layers Make sure the live art layer is active.
Working on this layer will make it easier when you
go to print.
3- Layout Place images and
text. Note: The template is live
so feel free to use the already
created boxes to place graphics.
Just remember to remove the
stroke.
