Meet Kacee Diemer - Our Newest Member!
K
acee Diemer is the newest member of the Springboro Optimist
Club. She grew up in Ottawa, Ohio, and was active in the Junior
Optimist Club throughout high school and she was an active
volunteer with their Toys for Tots program. In 2004, Kacee moved
to the Dayton area to attend Wright State University where she earned her
bachelor degree in Marketing with a minor in International Trade. Following
graduation, she started working at the Huber Heights location of the YMCA of
Greater Dayton. In June of 2009, became a full time Membership Sales Specialist
at the Kleptz YMCA in Englewood. In October of 2010, she accepted a
promotion to be the Membership Director at the Coffman Y here in
Springboro. Welcome Kacee.
Steve Harding is our guest speaker on June 13—He is returning with an
update on the 5K race that we helped support for River of Hope Ranch

Avenue of Flags Starts STRONG!
What a huge start to the 2013 AOF season with 208 Flags installed and picked up for
Memorial Day! Most impressive is that there were 24 people covering eight routes.
This is a record number of participants and routes for the club. Way to go AOF team!
A SPECIAL thanks goes to Jan Vomacka for the fantastic organization, salesmanship,
and grit to just plain get it done for the club. Participating this Memorial Day were:
