at the Lensic Performing Arts Center
Under the direction of Thomas O’Connor, the
Santa Fe Pro Musica Orchestra promises to bring
polished and vital performances all season, including
Beethoven’s revolutionary Symphony No. 5. In a
must-see concert, super star violinist Midori joins the
orchestra, performing Schumann’s Violin Concerto.
Our other featured soloists this season are Steinway
Artist Melissa Marse performing Beethoven’s poetic
Piano Concerto No. 3 and Avery Fisher Career Grant
winning pianist Benjamin Hochman performing
Mozart’s symphonic Piano Concerto No. 24.
Chamber music at the St. Francis Auditorium
Santa Fe Pro Musica welcomes three different string
quartets this season: the St. Lawrence String Quartet,
the Szymanowski String Quartet, and the Brentano
String Quartet. Each concert will be a chamber music
lover’s delight!
With the Santa Fe Pro Musica Orchestra,
mezzo-soprano Deborah Domanski sings Mahler’s
imaginative Symphony No. 4 and virtuoso violinist
Cármelo de los Santos performs concerti from
Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.
