At Excellence Riviera Cancun you are secluded but not isolated. This all-suite, alladult resort is set along Mexico’s renowned Mayan Riviera, between Playa del Carmen
and Cancun, on an immaculate white sand beach. Six meandering pools wind through
our grounds. You have unlimited access to eight international restaurants, one beach
snack grill and ten bars, plus such amenities as an expansive swim-in spa, a fullscale fitness and cardio-conditioning center, and an unparalleled range of activities
on land and sea. The surrounding region is rich with archeological and cultural
sites, as well as eco-tourism destinations including tropical coves, rainforest, and
caves. Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Cancun International Airport are all just a
short drive away.

We created The Excellence Club to provide an exclusive level of luxury and amenities
at each of the Excellence Resorts. You are privately greeted and checked into your
suite, which is adorned with welcoming flowers upon your arrival. Each morning,
fresh fruit and newspapers are delivered to your suite. You can enjoy our private Club
beach and lounge, complete with complimentary internet access, buffet, and bar

You can literally swim into Miilé, our deluxe spa. There, nestled in a lush garden, we
offer private treatment cabins for individuals and couples. Or, you may choose to enjoy
your spa services outdoors, facing the sea. Facilities and treatments include countercurrent swimming, a marine water pool, contrast temperature stone walks, and the
region’s traditional Temazcal baths. Among other hydrotherapies are tropical and
Scottish showers, ice treatment, cold-plunge and sweet water pool.
Our spa also provides complete skin, nail and hair care services. There are luxurious
locker areas and relaxation lounges for women and men, with their own amenities
and refreshments. At our spa boutique, you will find a selection of fine skin care and
aromatherapy products.

Your stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun will be peaceful but never boring. From
sea kayaking, windsurfing, and sailing, to snorkeling, diving, deep-sea angling, and
yachting, our part of the Caribbean is filled with adventures waiting to happen.
Competitors can enjoy water polo, beach volleyball, beach football, tennis, archery
and billiards, among many other games. Our full-scale fitness and cardio-conditioning
facility is available when you’re ready for a workout. In between all these activities,
you can take lessons in Spanish, dancing, or cooking, and enjoy a variety of live music
moments. Of special interest in the area are the legendary Mayan archeological sites,
and nearby tropical adventures can be easily arranged. And when you’re ready for a
different type of exploration, the shopping and bustle of Cancun are only a short drive
away. Above all, we want you to enjoy as much activity—or as little—as you wish.
During your stay, you can indulge in truly global dining in eight full-service
restaurants and one beach snack grill. The Agave specializes in fine Mexican
cuisine, while Toscana serves daily breakfast and lunch in addition to its evening
fare. Oregano is a casual trattoria and pizzeria serving lunch and dinner. Your other
dinner choices include Indian, French, and Asian/Japanese restaurants, as well as
restaurants specializing in lobster and steak. And best of all, reservations are never
required at any of our restaurants. Ten different bars complete the experience. You
can swim up to the pool bar or unwind at our chill-out bar on the beach. Or stay in
and enjoy room service, which is available 24 hours a day.

Excellence Riviera Cancun is an all-suite resort. In each suite, you will find a king
bed or two double beds, your own furnished patio or balcony, and an all-marble bath,
including a whirlpool tub, twin vanities, a separate shower, separate WC, direct dial
telephone, and hair dryer. Our lavish two-story rooftop terrace suites also feature
panoramic views and are outfitted with a private outdoor HydroSpa pool. Your suite
will be stocked with VIP toiletries and amenities including complimentary bathrobes
and slippers for use during your stay. Media includes a 42” flat-screen satellite TV, a
radio/alarm clock with iPod connectivity, and a CD/DVD player. Turndown service,
a pillow menu, minibar, In-room premium liquor & wine bottle selection, and a
room safe large enough to hold a laptop are all standard in your Junior Suite. ADA
accessible suites are also available.
Excellence Riviera Cancun offers 19,695 square feet of dedicated indoor meeting
and event space. The Grand Ballroom features 5,920 square feet of flexible area
that may be subdivided in three separate spaces. There are also two breakout rooms
of 775 square feet each. The resort boasts impressive outdoor venues for poolside
receptions and cocktail events, including 10,000 square feet of oceanfront terraces
and a spectacular stretch of beach for private cocktails.
