July 2nd & 3rd. Be part of the largest Pride festival in the world.
An estimated 1.2 million visitors are expected to attend this years’ Pride events. The festival is referred to as a “Canadian
Institution” by The Globe and Mail and the most diverse arts and cultural festival in Canada.
According to a recent Travel Study conducted by the Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, the GLBT
market segment (Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Trans-gendered) travel 3 to 4 times yearly and have a higher disposable
income than other consumer segment. They generate an estimated yearly spend of 9.4 billion dollars in travel related
products and services in Canada.

Pride Travel Marketplace: Celebrate Diversity & B PROUD
Pride Toronto festivities include a street marketplace in the heart of Toronto’s gay village and surrounding area.
Exhibitor booths line the streets selling and promoting various businesses. This year there will be a special section on
Wellesley Street, a prime location is dedicated to the travel industry....The Pride Travel Marketplace. We are offering you
the option of having your staff man your booth or if you prefer, we will provide staffing for you.
This is an excellent opportunity to reach the GLBT community and tap into a market segment that clearly loves to travel
and spend their money.
