Ambassador Spotlight: Lorilyn Wynn
Lorilyn has been a member of the
Alvin/Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce for 11 years. She has been an
Ambassador for 5 years and in 2011
was named Ambassador of the Year.
Lorilyn has served as a Board member
of the chamber from 2007 to 2010.
During that time she served as Membership Division Chair and Treasurer.
Lorilyn has been a member of the
American Business Women’s Association for 11 years. She has served as
President, Secretary and Treasurer of
the group. In 2008, she was named a
Woman of Excellence by the Federation of Houston Professional Women;
she received a Top 10 award in 2010
for the Houston Area Council of ABWA
and in 2011 and 2013 was named
Woman of the Year.
Lorilyn also serves the Soroptimist
International group of Alvin as Vice
President and she was named Volunteer of the Year in 2014. She coordinated the Salvation Army bell ringing
project this year in Alvin as well.
Lorilyn has been a banking professional for over 30 years. She has
worked at Texas Advantage Community Bank as Vice President for 6
years. She is a business development
officer and specializes in assisting
customers with commercial and personal loans of all types.
Lorilyn enjoys spending time with
her husband of 32 years and 2
daughters, Jasmine Johnson and
Lindsey Samford, her 3 grandchildren
and the family dog, Mattie Mae.
