John Cangelosi—Founder
Played 13 years at the big league level with
the White Sox, Pirates, Rangers, Mets, Astros, Marlins and Rockies. He was the 4th
round pick of the White Sox in 1982. Played
for the World Series Champion Florida Marlins in 1997. Set a rookie record with 50 stolen bases
in 1986. Spent 4 years as a roving base running and
outfield coach upon his retirement. Played collegiately
at Miami-Dade CC.

weeks during the fall league.

3 clay bullpen mounds
Cangelosi Baseball membership initiation fee will be waived for fall league
participants.

1986 out of Iowa State University.
Pitched 4 years professionally reaching
the AAA level.
Erik Pappas—Catching/Hitting
The 6th overall pick in the 1984 draft, selected by the
California Angels. Played in the big leagues with the
Cubs and Cardinals.
Kevin Sefcik—Infield/Hitting
The 33rd round pick of the Phillies out of St. Xavier.
Played all 3 outfield positions as well as shortstop, second base and third base at the big league level over
seven season with the Phillies and Rockies.
Dan Pasqua-Hitting
The third round selection of the Yankees in the 1982
draft. Played 10 years at the big league level with the
Yankees and White Sox.
Kelly Crosby-Outfield/Hitting
The 25th round pick of the Tigers in the 1997 draft.
Played professionally in the Yankees organization.
Played collegiately at Lubbock Christian University.
Jason Vitas-Director of Operations—Infield/Hitting
Was the assistant head coach for Joliet JC for 2 years,
including the 2008 National Champion team. Played
collegiately at Joliet JC and the University of St. Francis.

Played collegiately at Mesa CC, Black Hawk College

League is a developmental league that will
be instrumental in preparing freshmen and
sophomores to advance their skills for the
varsity level of high school baseball.
The Cangelosi Baseball Staff’s love of the
game, knowledge of the game, and understanding of what it takes to play at every
level makes this experience a must for the
serious baseball player.

Cangelosi Baseball’s Fall Instructional
League allows baseball players a unique
opportunity to learn and compete during
the off season. While other fall leagues
play games, Cangelosi Baseball provides
one day a week of intense instruction as
well as two days a week of competition
where players can put into practice what
they have learned. Cangelosi Baseball’s
professional staff takes pride in teaching
the game the correct way.
Bo Jackson and John Cangelosi have teamed up to create a
state-of-the-art, 94,000 square foot, year round baseball training
facility that will feature:
• Fully adjustable 124’ x 124’ field turf infield
• Six 70’ x 14’ Batting Cages with Pitching Machines
