The Eliminator split-second automatic trajectory compensation
technology has provided shooters with the invaluable ability to
place ethical shots on target within seconds dramatically
extending a rifleman’s confidence and ability in the field. The
New Eliminator III with X96 reticle technology empowers the
rifleman with even more accuracy, more range, a method of
windage compensation, and it is all now perfected AT ANY
MAGNIFICATION. Burris is the unequivocal expert in automated
trajectory compensation and the new Eliminator III provides
expert shooters with a level of sophistication only imaginable
before now.

Ballistic Laserscope
Operation
Enter the Drop Number and Ballistic Coefficient appropriate for the
ammunition. These data points can be found either in the Cartridge
List (1,500+ Specific Loads) provided by Burris or from just about
any ballistics software program.
Range Compensation
To range, simply press either button on the objective bell to activate the scope, then press again to range. A lighted dot will appear
representing your correct aiming point for your specific ammunition for the distance to the target.
Windage Compensation
The Eliminator III provides the shooter a convenient and accurate
METHOD to more easily compensate for wind, however complete
wind compensation is NOT fully automated within the scope and
still requires some thinking on the part of the shooter. The
Eliminator digital readout displays a 10 MPH Wind Value for the
Shooter's Specific Cartridge at the Specific Target Range as a “Dot
Value.” The Eliminator reticle features several Dots on each side
of the vertical post. These Dots serve as references to the shooter
to precisely hold into the wind. The shooter still needs to estimate
the cross-wind value himself and also needs to convert the 10MPH
Wind Value displayed to the appropriate value for the estimated
actual MPH cross-wind value. The shooter then holds into the wind
the appropriate “Dot Value” as shown below.
