As many of you know, from July 3rd-9th I competed in the
Miss World America pageant, and what an amazing experience
it was! I was crowned Miss Illinois World, made top 5 in
the Interview and Social Media Challenge categories, AND
made overall top 10! But, I have to say, one of my favorite
parts was walking the runway on finals night in this
amazing Ieena for Mac Duggal dress!

When we were able to pick an Ieena for Mac Duggal dress for
the runway show, I immediately fell in love with this one!
It was elegant and romantic, but with a flirty cut. It was
such a pleasure to be able to strut down the runway in this
gem.
I paired it with a sparkly, black, strappy heel to add a
bit of flair.

Hey darlings,
I hope you all are having a great start to the week. We all
know that the little black dress is an essential in every
woman’s closet! If you’re like me, your closet is filled
with them. For some people the little black dress is the
boring option, but to me there are endless possibilities
with this choice. For me, there’s something so fun and
flirty about a one-shoulder dress!
I thought the tweed coat was a fun and functional addition
to this look. Temperatures are dropping here in the Windy
City! Plus, it was a great way to break up all of the black
in the look.
The collar necklace (gold) is a bold accessory and an easy
option. I added a simple clutch to tie it all in and
connect the jewelry to the dress.
An added pop of color to your lips or jewelry can really
help complete your look and take the dress to the next
level.
