a period in which a total of 350 phacoemulsification proceedings
were performed. Geuder
has quite a user-friendly
interface for any person from the moment it is switched on. It allows
you to easily recognize the steps for programming and calibrating the
equipment and to decide the type of surgery to be made. Different
users can be programmed with the preestablished parameters, offering
more agility in the proceedings in case the machine is used by different
surgeons.
Among the advantages offered when compared with the previous model Geuder MEGATRON S3 are: It requires no external sensor, it uses
a cassette which allows you to make up to six surgeries without the
need for change and has preestablished and easily identifiable ports
where to connect the infusion tubes.
Once in surgery the machine responds with high efficiency on all its
parameters. In terms of the vacuum parameter I feel it to be more
powerful. If a surgeon is accustomed to a phacoemulsification machine with high vacuum, my recommendation would be to lower the
