Port of
Argentia
Operating the Port of Argentia in busy Placentia
Bay, Integrated Logistics is one of the latest expansions of the QSL group. While capable of
handling everything from steel products to project cargo, the terminal has virtually unlimited
outside storage space. Numerous large-scale
projects such as the Vale nickel processing plant,
Hebron, the North Atlantic oil refinery and all the
offshore oil transhipment projects are located
within 100 km from the terminal. Furthermore,
the capital of the province, St. John’s, is only
125 km away.
With the combination of resourceful, dedicated
labour and over 180 hectares of land, Integrated
Logistics is a preferred terminal operator in
Newfoundland and Labrador.

Port of
Anse au Foulon Sector
Operating since the 1930s, the Anse au Foulon
sector has, first, served to the export of breakbulk,
especially wood and pulp. Throughout the years,
the terminal has constantly improved. In 2012,
there have been major investments: a dome and
a building have been built offering over 10,220 m²
of storage from which 2,787 m² with climate control. In 2014, a new terminal for wood pellets will
be in operation. It will comprise one unloading
wagon system, a conveyors system, two pellet
silos and one ship loader. This will make Québec
City the port par excellence for the export of
wood pellets to Europe.
Accessible year-long, the terminal is equipped
to handle dry bulk, steel and breakbulk. Anse au
Foulon is notably a hub for the supply of two
major Canadian mining companies located in the
Canadian Arctic.
The terminal benefits from both Canadian National
(CN) and Canadian Pacific (CP) rail service and
has access to major North American highways.
The head office of Quebec Stevedoring is located
at Anse au Foulon where we find management,
administrative and sales & marketing personnel.
