R.O ACCESSORIES
MEMBRANE CLEANING
For over 15 years Lapierre Equipment has specialized in the
maintenance of reverse osmosis membranes. This service is
offered to all customers regardless of the brand of its membrane.
We are always looking for ways to improve the service to our
valued customers. Tests will be performed on all membranes sent in for
cleaning :
The membranes are collected and delivered through our network of
dealers without any extra charges.
• Before cleaning proceeds, we test for sugar
leakage through the membrane.
All products used for cleaning membranes are approved for
organic production protocols.
• A performance test is also done before and after cleaning. These tests
are offered at no extra charge with washing.
We can also repair any membrane with damaged fiber glass or end
flanges. Contact us or your local Lapierre Equipment
distributor to pick up your membranes. We will be happy to serve your
requirements.

MINI-PRO
Our smallest evaporator equipped with a 4'' deep raised flue pan for more efficiency. Introduced on the market
in 2011 following a request from one of our U.S.A. dealer, The Maple Guys from New Hampshire. You can
theoretically finish your maple syrup directly on this evaporator, but since most people using such an
evaporator are mainly beginners in the industry it is recommended to use a heated finishing unit to make a
syrup at the proper density.

JUNIOR
An evaporator a little bit more efficient equipped with a 5'' deep raised flue pan, mainly sold to the Baby Boomers or to
people who made maple syrup with their parents when they were young. An affordable hobby and a safe investment
which will not depreciate very much throughout the years. The ideal equipment for having hours of fun with your
family or friends.

HOBBY EVAPORATORS
THE CLASSIC
A high efficiency evaporator with a 7'' deep raised flue pan but assembled with basic plumbing connections (similar
to the Junior model). There is only one pan in the front with two partitions (three compartments) going
width wise and return connection boxes on opposite corners. This model will give you the same boiling rate per hour
compare to our Storm model but for less money.

STORM
Our top-of-the-range evaporator with optimal productivity equipped with sophisticated plumbing, including a settling pipe at
the flue pan outlet in order to collect sugar sand niter which will keep the front pan(s) cleaner for a longer period of time.
On this model the sap feed on the back flue pan is on one side, and the syrup draw-off on the front pan(s) is on the other side.
But if needed you can order as an option the sap inlet and syrup draw-off to be on the same side at a reasonable price.

STANDARD PIGGY BACK
The Lapierre Waterloo Small Piggy Back unit is a natural way of concentrating your sap before it enters the flue pan. The process
uses steam produced from the flue pan which would normally be lost through the steam stack. Sap thus enters the flue pan at a
much greater concentration, speeding up boiling time and increasing the efficiency of the evaporator. Lapierre Waterloo Small
evaporators such as Hurricane Force 5 and Turbo 2 can recover as much as 65% of energy savings.

Steam is guided by a drip tray which is installed
between the flue pan and the Piggy Back pans.
