Canada. February 10th, 2012 Bradley Agler My least favorite movie is Part One of Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows. This movie was my least favorite movie because it didn’t do the book justice. It was a very boring movie and it wasn’t really on track with the others and it really made me second guess going to see the second part. In the first part they make you believe that the second part won’t cover the bases left open from the book. I’m not really a movie critic but this one wouldn’t have gotten very many stars, from me at least. I believe that if you write a series of books and then turn them into corresponding movies, the movies should be just like the books. Otherwise, most people watch the movies first and it either ruins the book for them or it ruins the perceptions totally because of the sometimes major differences in the tone, mood, setting, the actions of the characters and even the characters appearance. My least favorite bug is spiders. Ever
since I was little I never liked spiders.
They are very scary, creepy, nasty and
sometimes hairy. I’m basically afraid of
spiders because they
can bite you. Some
spiders are
poisonous and they
could hurt someone
badly. I don’t know how people can have
spiders as a pet. Most people would
agree with me that spiders are
horrifying. Page 19 -‐Kyra Plaugher -‐Kenzie Conrad Obviously my least favorite consol would be the Nintendo Wii. Its controls are often in accurate and the games themselves are just plain lame. You can’t play shooters and most puzzle games are difficult to successfully use a Wii remote on and makes it pointless. In comparison to other movement consoles the Wii falls in last place with the Xbox 360 Kinect in first followed by the Sony Move. Also the games have horrible graphics. So therefore the Wii is the worst gaming consol of today. -‐Isaac Spencer My least favorite type of shoes is the low cut shoes. I don’t like them because they don’t have the ankle support that high and medium tops have. They also don’t have the style and comfort level that other types have. I prefer the looks of higher top shoes over low cut shoes. That’s why I don’t like low cut shoes. -‐Cole Meyer `

We all have tons of problems here at Allen East. Ms. Advice has the answers to all your many problems. Lets see what problems Mustang Land had this week: Dear Ms. Advice, How do you tell your parents that you are dating a wonderful guy, and not get screamed at? -‐stressed&confused Dear Stressed&Confused,
Cook a nice dinner for your parents, and clean
the house. Then, give them each five dollars.
Do this all the day before your birthday and
then tell them on your birthday,
because they can’t yell at you on
your birthday.
But really you
should just confront your parents
about it, and ask them about
dating. Tell them he’s just a friend
and bring him to dinner. Later see
what your parents think of him
and if he’s as wonderful as you
say, they will love him and you
can stop going behind your parents’ backs.
Dear Ms. Advice, We want our band director back! What do we do? -‐Musically challenged Dear musically challenged,
Make the best of the
situation. Things will work out for
the best, and definitely don’t
contribute to any rumors.
Dear Ms. Advice, Why did the chicken cross the road? -‐duck Dear Duck,
You see, my father watching TV, when a
Camel popped out of his microwave and
threw a cheese cube shaped like the state of
Texas, at my his table. It missed and hit his pet
opossum. The opossum got very scared and
slobbered all over my father’s radio. This
caused an electrical shock-wave, and fried his
TV circuit. My dad got mad and ran outside,
got on his tricycle and rode away to my house.
He walked in the front door, hit my brother in
the head with a Hannah Montana doll, and
knocked him out. He grabbed my TV and
headed for the door. I was eating my rice
when this all happened so I threw my
chopsticks at my dad. They hit his nose and he
dropped the TV. The TV landed on a shovel.
The shovel flew into the air and hit a telephone
wire, which made all the birds sitting on the
wire, fly away. There was a hunter nearby, and
he shot one of the birds which fell out of the air
and landed in a bald man's pudding. The man
started to scream and burst into tears! This
man's pet chicken got scared of the
man, who was now crying, and ran
across the road. The chicken then
got hit by a black Cadillac. February 10, 2012 Cole Meyer Page 21 This week in Mr. Advice I will be giving you the readers the answers to everyday problems. For any problem big or small I will give advice that will answer them all. Although this advice is free I guarantee a helpful solution or your money back.
Dear Mr. Advice, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I have no idea what to get my girlfriend. We have only been dating a couple months and I don’t want to spend all of my money just in case it doesn’t work out between us. Will you please help me? Sincerely, No Gift for Girlfriend Dear No Gift for Girlfriend, I know how you feel about not wanting to spend a lot of money on a new girlfriend. Gifts don’t have to be expensive they just have to come from the heart. Honestly I would just get her chocolate, a stuffed animal, and a flower. Those are simple gifts that girls love and they are fairly inexpensive. Sincerely, Mr. Advice Dear Mr. Advice, I’m a senior this year and I’m starting to not care about school. My grades are starting to drop and my parents are getting on my case about them. How can I pull my grades up and start caring about school again? Sincerely, Slacking Senior Dear Slacking Senior, That’s not good. School should be your number one priority. Even though it is your senior year you still have to pass your classes to graduate. If you get bad grades it will affect your grade point average. If you grade point average is low colleges will look down on that. So you should take that into consideration and hit the books to get your grades up. Then your parents will leave you alone about them. Sincerely Mr. Advice, Dear, Mr. Advice I keep getting sick because this Ohio weather is cold and snowing one day then warm and sunny the next day. Is there anything I can do to stop myself from getting sick? Sincerely, Sickly Kid Dear Sickly Kid, I know the weather has been messing with me too. One thing that I have been doing to stop getting sick is taking vitamins. They give you essential vitamins and minerals that help build you immune system up. You should take them regularly for them to keep working. You could also drink orange juice the vitamin C will help you’re your immune system strong. Another thing you should do is continue to wear a coat even if you don’t need one. If you feel yourself starting to get sick either go to the doctor or take over the counter medicine. Sincerely, Mr. Advice Dear Mr. Advice, I just recently got a job and they are working me one day a week for a few hours. I’m not making enough money to pay for gas to get back and forth to work with these insanely high gas prices. What can I do to make more money? Sincerely, Will Work For Gas Dear Will Work For Gas, That is quite a predicament that you’re in. I’m totally following you on that. I had a job like that before. You should look for another job somewhere else or one that is closer to you. It may not be a bad idea to try and work two jobs which will give you a lot more money and with these gas prices that is a really good idea. Sincerely, Mr. Advice, February 10 th , 2012
