Amitabh Harivansh Rai Shrivastava Bachchan ( born 11 October
1942) is an Indian film actor. He first gained popularity in
the early 1970s for movies like Zanjeer and Deewar, and was
dubbed India’s first “angry young man” for his on-screen roles
in Bollywood. Referred to as the “Shahenshah of Bollywood”,
“Star of the Millennium” or “Big B”, he has since appeared in
over 180 Indian films in a career spanning more than four
decades. Bachchan is widely regarded as one of the greatest
and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema.
So total was his dominance on the movie scene in the 1970s and
1980s that the French director François Truffaut called him a
“one-man industry.”
The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in
1984, the Padma Bhushan in 2001 and the Padma Vibhushan in
2015 for his contributions to the arts. The Government of
France honoured him with its highest civilian honour, Knight
of the Legion of Honour, in 2007 for his exceptional career in
the world of cinema and beyond.
He was Born in the year 1942 at Allahabad, India.
His sun Sign is Libra and he is now 74 years old.
Bollywood actor who has appeared in over 180 films and
television episodes. He has been called a one-man industry,
and is regarded as one of the most prominent and influential
figures in the history of Indian cinema.
He began his entertainment career doing narration for the
award-winning film, Bhuvan Shome. He made his debut in The
Great Gatsby, where he played Meyer Wolfsheim.
He has won fourteen Filmfare Awards and six International
Indian Film Academy Awards, including the Best Actor Award in
2010 for his performance in Paa.
His parents are Harivansh Rai and Teji Bachchan. He had two
children with Jaya Bhaduri Bachchan, whom he married in 1973.
He is Aishwarya Bachchan’s father-in-law. Aishwarya won the
Miss World pageant in 1994.

Dekho” Press Meet
When glamour world comes to the cultural capital of India City
of Joy with a team of heart throbs of youth result is obvious

Production Development
In October 2013, it was announced that Nitya Mehra, assistant
director to films Life of Pi and The Reluctant Fundamentalist,
would be making her directorial debut with Excel Entertainment
on their new project. The film was rumoured to feature Aamir
Khan and later Hrithik Roshan in the leading male role and
Deepika Padukone in the leading female role. In September
2014, it was officially announced that the film will be coproduced by Karan Johar of Dharma Productions and that
Sidharth Malhotra will feature in the film. Later in April
2015, Katrina Kaif was confirmed to feature in the film,
opposite Malhotra. Initially titled Kal Jisne Dekha, Baar Baar
Dekho reportedly is based on an ageing romance spanning 30 odd
years.
Filming
Principal photography began on August 28, 2015, in Glasgow,
Scotland, and went for over a month. Filming then continued in
Delhi and Mumbai from November 2015 onwards. On February 22,
2016, the team filmed “Sau Aasmaan” in Krabi, Thailand, for a
week.
Music
The music is composed by Amaal Mallik, Arko, Badshah, Jasleen
Royal and Bilal Saeed.
The first song “Kala Chashma” was released on 27 July 2016.

during the 1940s. Her early adult acting, under the name Meena
Kumari, was mainly in mythological movies like Veer Ghatotkach
(1949), Shri Ganesh Mahima (1950), and fantasy movies like
Alladin and The Wonderful Lamp (1952).
Meena Kumari gained fame with her role as a heroine in Vijay
Bhatt’s Baiju Bawra (1952). She became the first actress to
win the Filmfare Best Actress Award in 1953 for this
performance. Meena Kumari highly successfully played the roles
of a suffering woman in Parineeta (1953), Daera (1953), Ek Hi
Raasta (1956), Sharda (1957), and Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayi
(1960). Though she cultivated the image of a tragedienne, she
also performed commendably in a few light-hearted movies like
Azaad (1955), Miss Mary (1957), Shararat (1959), and Kohinoor
(1960). One of her best-known roles was in Sahib Bibi Aur
Ghulam (1962), which was produced by Guru Dutt. she made
history by getting all the three nominations for Filmfare Best
Actress Award, for her roles in Aarti, Main Chup Rahungi, and
Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam. She won the award for Sahib Bibi Aur
Ghulam.
For four more years, Kumari performed successfully in Dil Ek
Mandir (1963), Kaajal (1965), and Phool Aur Patthar (1966),
all of which earned her Filmfare nominations, with Kaajal
garnering her a fourth and last win of the Best Actress award.
Pakeezah, starring Kumari and directed by her ex-husband Kamal
Amrohi, took 14 years to reach the silver screen.
Three weeks after the release of Pakeezah, Meena Kumari became
seriously ill, and died on 31 March 1972 of liver cirrhosis.
At her death, she was in more or less the same financial
circumstance as her parents at the time of her birth: It is
said that when she died in a nursing home, there was no money
to pay her hospital bills. She was buried at Rahematabad
Qabristan located at Narialwadi, Mazgaon, Mumbai.

In real life the incident was the famous case based on the
naval officer Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati.
Administrator with the Indian Navy, Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati
turned into an image of uprightness with this single inquiry
he asked to his better half’s darling. A standout amongst the
most incredible cases managed by the Indian Judiciary, the
case normally known as Nanavati versus State of Maharashtra
had caught the creative energy of individuals right from its
days of trial.
On the afternoon of April 27, 1959, Commander Kawas Maneckshaw
Nanavati’s wife confessed to him that she was in love with a
family friend, Prem Ahuja. Without betraying any emotion, the
officer – who was second in command of the Indian Navy’s
flagship INS Mysore – Nanavati dropped his English wife Sylvia
and two children at a film theater.
The the 37-year-old officer then went to his ship, took his
senior officer’s permission to leave for Ahmednagar and carry
a revolver and six bullets. Nanavati went to Ahuja’s house and
killed him. He gave himself up to police and confessed to the
murder. The case went on and Nanavati got a reputation as the
“honourable killer”. He was finally pardoned in 1962. He
migrated to Canada with Sylvia and children.
