Light duty models.
BP series single direction plates are suitable for all
applications in light duty soil and granular material
work. They are ideal for use on patching and
footpaths, pipelines and trenches, landscaping and
DIY – and where narrow access makes the use
of other compaction equipment impractical.

Water sprinkler system (optional): High capacity, corrosion-free
13.5 l water tank with fill-level indicator. Water output is regulated
easily and precisely.
Removable water tank for easy, quick filling.
Specialist asphalt models.
Single direction vibratory plates for use on
asphalt patching work on roads and footpaths
or for compaction close up to walls or kerbs. The
optimum ratio between amplitude and working
speed means high output plus superior surface
finish.
n The large and robust single-lift point provides
safe and easy transport and extra convenience
for special applications such as use at edges
and joints.

n An
optional central bow offers better handling
and manoeuvrability in confined spaces.
All BOMAG BP plates are optionally available with
water sprinkler systems for asphalt work. Model
BP 12/50 A is a fully equipped specialist asphalt
unit with a specially designed base plate which
tapers towards the rear. This prevents the asphalt
surface from scuffing when the machine turns,
and which enhances workmanship along edges
and walls.

Plastic mat (optional): Vibration without damage to the paved surface.
Specialist block paving models.
BP single direction vibratory plates are suitable
for use on block paving work. They are popular for
the compaction of block paving and for subbase
preparation beforehand.
n The
high working speed means that individual
paving blocks are evenly compacted to create
a level surface. This capability counteracts the
risk of ridge formation.
Central bow (optional): For increased manoeuvrability in corners and
at edges.
n Working
widths, which are larger than earlier
models, give higher output and improved
surface.
n Optional
plastic mats offer protection against
damage to the paved surface – vital on surface
glazed paving blocks.
Frequently, paving requires extra force to ensure
that blocks settle correctly. This is where our
specialist models come into play: the BP 25/50
and BP 25/50 D.
These power-packed units feature high working
speeds and ample working widths, plus the largest
available single direction plate centrifugal forces.
Combined with high amplitude, higher ouputs
are achieved on block paving work with thicker
paviors
