Airline Flight
The first transcontinental airline flight began in New York by C.P.
Rodger on September 17,
1911. It would complete
its journey to Pasadena,
CA after numerous stops
and 82 hours and 4 minutes in the air on November 5th! He became an
instant celebrity, but was
killed in a crash a few
months later at an exhibition in California.
