Beiseker Medical Clinic will re-open Friday,
July 29th at 10:00am. The clinic will be
open every Wednesday and Friday from
10:00am - 4:00pm. To make an appointment,

STAMPEDE BREAKFAST
Thank you for coming to our 1st annual Stampede
Breakfast on July 14th. We fed 325 awesome
people!! We were entertained with fabulous
country music by Verlin Rau and his band, and
watched a great performance of square dancing
by the Rocky View Ramblers.

who helped out with this fantastic

the bell with his head. It sound fantastic. He
gets hired. “Who’s that?”, asked one of the
elders. “I don’t know his name,” replied the
Pastor. “But his face sure rings a bell.”

Supplies for Success program is a
partnership between Staples and
Community Links. This program provides
students with a new backpack filled with
school supplies. Much needed items such
as binders, math sets, pens/pencils, erasers,
pencil cases and rulers will be distributed in
backpacks at the Beiseker Office starting
August 23rd, Tuesdays and Fridays (regular
business hours). Families are required to
provide proof of residency, as well as ID
for their children. For more information,

Ate salad for dinner!! Mostly croutons and
tomatoes. Really just one big, round crouton
covered with tomato sauce. And cheese. Fine,
it was a pizza. I ate a pizza!

BEISEKER RECYCLING
For curbside recycling, use a Blue Box (available at the
Village Office). PLEASE NOTE: Beiseker Recycling
can not accept glass or soft plastic-please include with your
regular household garbage. Pick up for Residential &
Commercial Recycling is every Wednesday. Your blue box
will be exchanged for an empty one, or you can deposit
recyclables in the green bins at the Depot entrance. Please
wash milk jugs, cans & food containers before depositing
in blue box, or in the green bins at the depot. Styrofoam,
lightbulbs, sheet plastic (garbage bags, saran wrap) will not
be accepted in blue boxes or at the depot. These must be
included with your regular garbage, and electronics (Tv’s,
computers, printers) can be deposited at the Recycling
Depot.

The Beiseker & District F.C.S.S. BOARD is accepting
funding applications.
Applications must fall within the following criteria:






Help people to develop independence by strengthening
coping skills, so an individual can be more resistant to
crises.
Be educational, pro-active and support collaboration
among other service providers.
Be effective and efficient in the use of money and other
resources, looking to the highest impact in the use of
such resources.
Emphasize community benefit in their application,
and require a commitment from programs for
measurable outcomes.
Promote, encourage and facilitate the involvement of
volunteers.
Help people develop life skills, and develop interpersonal
and group skills, which enhance constructive
relationships.
Grants cannot be used for:
 recreation;
 public health transportation;
 direct assistance, including money, food, clothing or
shelter, to sustain an individual or family;
 rehabilitation;
 duplication of services provided by other government
agencies.
Applicants must be a non-profit agency/community
group, registered society, or local government agency
that serves the Village of Beiseker and surrounding
area residents.
Application forms are available at the Village of Beiseker
office.
