1st Grader
Gabriel is a 1st grader who was born deaf. Gabriel has a profound hearing loss and his
primary language is American Sign Language. Gabriel has emotional outbursts when he
has not had attention for a significant amount of time, or when someone does not completely understand what he wants. Gabriel needs a lot of one-on-one time when working
on reading and writing to be sure he is understanding.

Brachiosaurus
-Lived in North America, fossils were found in

Fun Fact: Brachiosaurus ate

-Herbivore, meaning they only eat plants
-The name means arm lizard
-Brachiosaurus was around 85 feet long.

Tyrannosaurus Rex
Fun Fact: A T-Rex’s tail had over 40
vertebrae!
-walked on two legs like a human
-its largest tooth was 12” long
-carnivores, meaning they only eat meat
-T-Rex’s weighed up to 7 tons!

Fun Fact: Velociraptors lived about
73 million years ago!
-they could kill anything with their claws
-they would only grow to about 6’6”
-claimed to be the mot famous fossils
-they lived in Mongolia

Triceratops
-they were herbivores (only ate plants)
-The head alone could grow up to 7 feet
-the name triceratops means three horned

-the horns were only use for protection

Pterodactyl
-pterodactyls could fly
-it was a carnivore (only ate meat)
-found that they lived in 4 different continents
-had great eyesight so they could see their

-they had very small teeth
-used its large tail to defend itself
