BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION: As
part of our Black History Month Celebration we
are thrilled to present The Watoto Children’s
Choir tour entitled “Beautiful Africa: A New Generation”.
The Watoto Children’s Choir has traveled internationally
since 1994 as ambassadors for the millions of children in
Africa, orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war and poverty.
The production will be presented at CRE on Tue., Feb.
17. With its genuine appeal, accompanied by music and
dance they share a message of transformation by telling
the story of Africa’s rescued orphans and women that
reaches out to audiences with the message of Christ’s
healing power.
Please be sure to stop by Charisma Books and Gifts for
the entire month of Feb. to purchase Black History Month
products as well as products from the Watoto Children’s
Choir. When you purchase Watoto products 100% of your
purchase will go to helping to rescue vulnerable children
and women from poverty and destitution.
To top off our celebration, visit Culinary Arts as they
explore our African Heritage with weekly African Menu
selections. This week’s menu includes: Mchuzi wa

Couscous; Mandazi - (African Donuts).
