Band meets Sundays, 7:00 AM in the Vestry for prayer, praise and testimony. Contact

BABY BLESSINGS
Baby Blessings take place on the 2nd Sunday at the 11:00 AM Service. Baby
Blessing Classes are held monthly on the third Wednesday, 6:00 PM in the
Nursery. Next Class: Wednesday, December 16th. Parents who wish to have their
child blessed must attend this class. To register, call the Church office x255.
MEDIA
Photographs and Audio/Video recordings are not permitted in the Sanctuary. Cell
phones should be turned off during worship service. Only the Church’s official
photographer and ABY/TECH are allowed to take pictures or record services.

Has Christ been left out of Christmas? With consumerism and spending at an alltime high, national sales and product promotions, and an abundance of holiday
themed events, the focus seems to have shifted from Christ's birth to the
people he came to save. This workshop explores origins of the Christmas
holiday up to this current day and time. Attendees will walk away with a true
sense of the history of Christmas, its growth into the modern day production
and ways to help preserve Christ in the midst of the Christmas season.

As we consistently work to win more souls for Christ by enhancing
The Abyssinian Baptist Church worship experience, be informed that
on Sunday, December 6, 2015, our second worship service will begin
at 11:30 AM.
This change helps us to serve you with greater efficiency in several
timesaving ways…

The 9:00 AM service is not hurried;

Additional 30 minutes provides Abyssinian ministers, officers, and
choir, as well as outgoing/incoming attendees with adequate time
to transition between worship services, and allows for prompt
start of the second worship service;

Prevents overcrowding in halls and corridors between services;

Gives members and visitors additional minutes for timely arrival
to second service;

Parking attendants have additional time to facilitate parking space
accessibility between services;

With new definite start time of second worship service,
Livestream worshipers experience shorter time lapse between
services, thus avoiding prolonged display of “we will start shortly”
prompt.
