The grass tests at Pinwherry scheduled for May 19th had to be cancelled
due to the field being waterlogged. Next Pinwherry meetings are on
June 16th and July 7th. Look up website for details of how to enter.
In our rush to go away on holiday in April, our first edition
of the season seems to have gone astray, so we are
sending it out with this second issue. We hope to get a bit
more up to date once the heavy July calendar has been
taken care of.

Sunday:
Heavy rain was forecast for the morning with dry/sunny afternoon, and
the met boys got it right in this occasion. The practice was pretty horrid
and everyone can be grateful that the marshals endured it all. Louise
struggled with the Jedi next day and John Mackenzie emerged from a
close encounter with the one litre OMS Hornet of Andrew Grover to
take FTD by 0.08 of a second. Stephen Alexander took third place
after a weekend battle with Les Mutch who took fourth place in the
overall results.
