Join us in helping cleanup the OLC for the school year!!
About the Clean up: West Hills STEM Academy is hosting our their 4th annual Outdoor
Learning Center Clean-up. Several years ago, we reclaimed about 4 acres behind the school and
have been working ever since to make it a safe, clean environment not only for learning during
school, but for families of the West Hills area to enjoy as well. Every year our cleanup has
grown in size. This year we are hoping to have our biggest turnout yet! We would like to
invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 15th from 1:30-4:30 and help support our school in
our continued endeavor to take back the OLC and clean-it up. If you are not able to attend or
would like to support our efforts in another way, please let us know. We can always use
donations to purchase supplies or increased publicity. We look forward to hearing back from
you.
Things we are in need of:
Large, heavy-duty large garbage bags
Work gloves, all sizes and types
Gardening type tools to remove invasive species
