The Stryker QuikDrive mini may also be used, in conjunction with a Drill Adapter, for drilling pilot holes in non-dense bone for 1.2 mm to 1.5 mm screws.1 • Fast coupling for Hex-Shaft Blades and Drill Adapter The Stryker QuikDrive mini is intended for inserting 1.2 mm to 1.7 mm Stryker bone fixation screws (self-drilling and self-tapping) The sterilization tray offers convenient storage and sterilization in one compact unit. The drill adapter allows for Stryker J - Latch or Dental end drill bits. Automatic System Check • QuikDrive mini will perform an automatic system check, when Battery Pack is attached to the handpiece • An acoustic signal gives feedback about the current status of the QuikDrive mini • If the QuikDrive mini is attached to the Battery Pack and is not used for a period of 15 minutes, the device will enter a standby mode to conserve battery life Neuro AcousticInstruments Signal Description 1 Cause Action [**] 2 high tone beeps System check was successful Device is ready for use [ *- - ] 1 high and 2 low tone beeps At least one of the QDm sensors is damaged or misaligned Remove and reattach the Battery Pack – DO NOT press any control buttons (sensors) for up to 2 sec. after the Battery Pack is attached and the QDm beeps again. [--] 2 low tone beeps QDm device is too hot and is going into temperature protection mode Wait until QDm has cooled down to room temperature and reattach the Battery Pack [*] 1 high tone beep QDm is in standby mode Remove and reattach the Battery Pack The QuikDrive mini is suitable for screwdriver blades of the Universal Neuro 2 and/or Universal Neuro 3 System including the CMF Universal 2 System. • Touch Sensor Controls, forward and reverse The battery pack is packaged sterile, for single use. The handpiece contains two force-sensitive buttons, which allow for variable speed control in the forward and reverse directions. The handpiece maintains the „self-lock“ mode (the drive shaft does not rotate) until one of the force sensitive buttons is pressed. Two types of drill adapters (for Dental and J-Latch coupling twist drills) are available to allow drilling of pilot holes in non-dense bone.
