Kinimaka and Mr. Kevin
Aquino with a very warm
“Aloha!” as they have become the
newest members of the Club Bali
Family! Mr. Hale is the new
General Manager for Club Bali's
Hawai'i Resort and Mr. Kevin is
our new Guest Relations Manager
for Hawai'i Resort. Both Hale and
Kevin are from Hawai'i, USA, and
possess all the necessary skills and
knowledge needed to create the
Hawaiian concept for the resort.
They will no doubt play an integral
part in providing the exotic
Hawaiian experience for all of our
resort guests!
Both Hale and Kevin arrived in
Jakarta at the beginning of
December, 2009. Hale and Kevin
knew each other while residing in
Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. They
met in a poker tournament in a tiny
Casino hotel called Tuscany, and
became instant friends after
discovering they were both from
Hawai'i and went to rival high
schools. They come from very
prestigious private high schools;
Hale from Kamehameha High
School (The wealthiest high
Hawaii Resort & Spa
school in America), and Kevin
from Saint Louis High School
(famous Catholic all boys school
known for being ranked 8th in the
entire nation for it's powerful
football team).
Hale Kinimaka is the son of a
famous entertainer from Hawai'i
named Iva Kinimaka and inherited
his father's singing voice. He loves
singing Hawaiian music and like
Kevin, is a “karaoke junky”. He is
credited for winning several
karaoke contests singing his
favorite song “My Way”. He loves
singing the famous standards of
Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin,
Michael Buble and even Elvis, but
possesses an infinite repertoire of
songs. More importantly, Hale
possesses over 10 years of
management in hotel and
restaurant experience and has in
fact worked for the Club Bali
family a decade earlier managing
JBR from 1996-1998.
Hale in turn brought Kevin aboard
to assist in creating the Hawaiian
experience. Kevin Aquino has
years of experience in
entertainment especially with
Hawaiian music and dance. Kevin
will be tasked with teaching the
C l u b B a l i s t a ff H a w a i i a n
language, culture and even hula
dancing. He will also manage the
Activities group and Spa as well as
coordinating the entertainment.

presented awards to
Timeshare Industry Leaders
world wide. In Indonesia, only 2
awards were presented. They
went to the pioneers of timeshare
in Indonesia, Ruslan Morris,
Founder and Managing
Director of Club Bali, and
John Spence, Founder of
Royal Resorts.

Reservations
Q : Is there any payment I should make, if
I decided to join Club Bali
membership?
A : To join Club Bali membership, you
must pay membership joining fee that
can be paid in full cash directly when
you join Club Bali or you can pay by
monthly installment, it depends on
your first deal with the sales. Other
than membership joining fee, you
have to pay Annual Fee every year and
it depends on how many points every
member has.
Q : How much point does every member
have?
A : Every member has a different point;
depends on purchasing agreement and
membership fee which both has been
signed between Club Bali and its
member.
Q : Will member get their points every
year?
A : Its member will get their point
automatically, as soon as Club Bali
received member's Annual Fee and the
payment was input to Membership
Status, which will be adjusted with
your joining date which is called
Anniversary Date.
Q : Can member pay their Annual Fee in
advance until their last year of

membership?
A : Member is allowed to pay Annual Fee
in advance until their last year of
membership. However, usage of the
point must be followed the terms and
conditions applied.
Q : By paying Annual Fee in advance and
member's get their point annually, can
member use the whole points their
until last year of membership?
A : Member's only allowed to borrow
point one year from the following
year, other than point available in the
current running year.
Q : How many points can be used by
members and what is the term and
conditions applied?
A : If member wants to borrow point on
their first year, member should not
have any payment overdue. And
member must paid full payment for
their membership purchase and
Annual Fee.
Q : What happens if member don't use
their point on the current running
year?
A :Points not used are saved
automatically for use in the following
year. We give reservations priority to
members who advise Member
Services 2 (two) months or more
before member's current use year
expiry date. That is why we encourage
members to use their point before its
due date every year or member may
save their point by contact Member
Services.
Q : Can the point be given to member's
children or parents?
A : Member's can give their entitlement
point to their parents or children for
free, so that they can use all Club Bali's
resorts or any affiliated hotels.
Q : Do member have to pay for another fee
if they give the point to be use by their
family members?
A : If the point given by members to their
parents or children directly, they don't
have to pay for another fee. But if the
point is given to other than member's
parents or children, then members will
have to pay for Guest Fee in amount of
Rp 100 ribu / room.
Q : How many units member is allowed to
use at Club Bali's resorts?
A : Member is allowed to book 2 (two)
units at Club Bali resorts without any
other fee applied. But should member
need to use more than 2 (two) room
units, the 3rd room will be charged Rp
100 ribu/night, maximum Rp 300 ribu
if it is more than one night for the third
room
Holiday Experience At Palace of The Golden Horses
Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia
by the look of the hotel's exterior that
looks like a little palace with so many
domes. You may see on its website

With its concrete walls and railing
irons, don't expect to see a modern
building hotel with glass shades just
like in Jakarta. We can not see the rest
of the hotel's landscape, since it was
already night and dark. There's a
horseracing track right across of the
hotel, which usually opens on
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday,
and the hotel guest are welcome to
join the horse racing bet there. The
name of the hotel was taken not only
from the street's name but also
because of the horseracing arena

ur family arrived at Kuala
Lumpur-Malaysia from
Singapore on 22 December 2009.
“We” here means, 5 adults and 3
children (under 10 years old), so it's a
big family. We almost cancelled our
holiday to KL if we didn't get any
help from Ms.Nunu of Club Bali.
As soon as we arrived at Kuala
Lumpur, we're looking for a taxi,
there are certain rules on number of
passengers could be taken by one
taxi. For a sedan they can only have 4
passengers include driver, for a van
they can take up to 4 passsengers
include driver, so we have to chart a
minivan (a KIA Carnival in Jakarta)
because if we want to chart a car
smaller than that,they wouldn't allow
us in. This rules is strictly
implemented for all the taxi driver
and noone dares to break the rules.
The charter fee is RM 199, although
we rent the taxi by charter system but
the argo is still running, and this is
another rule needs to be
followed,otherwise the driver will
get a penalty and the fine charge is
very expensive.
The charter fee is include the toll fare
we passes by, and as for the driver's
tip it is up to the passengers whether
to give them a tip or not. Despite the
expensive charter fee, in overall the
car's condition is in a good condition
and very clean)
The distance from the airport to hotel
takes time about one hour, without
traffic jam and through highway,
because if we use the ordinary route
it will takes more time than using
highway. It's a little bit boring during
this trip to hotel because everywhere
we see there's only palm trees and we
are wondering why the hotel's
location seems so far away.
As soon as the car stopped, I check in
directly by myself, because the
confirmation letter was from Palace
Vacation Club, I'm a little bit worried
they might asking some questions.
The hotel lobby was decorated with

decoration,even the domes was
decorated with Christmas
decoration. By the way, don't be so
surprise to see all the permanent
decoration's theme is all about
We asked the driver about Palace of
The Golden Horses hotel, and we've
got a VERY GOOD stories about it.
This 5 stars hotel apparently quite
famous in KL, from the driver's story,
there are many rich and famous
people who stays there, rumours says
the hotel belongs to Brunei
Darussalam's royal empire. The
journey feels like forever after we
hear the story about this hotel, we got
more and more curious about it)
When we entered the hotel's gate, we
think the gossip's maybe true as it is,

horses, so there's a lot of horse
headdress and shoe horses.
The check in procedure went so
smoothly without many questions
asked, turns out Club Bali has
cooperated with Palace Vacation
Club and to facilitate its guest, the
head office of this vacation club is
located in this very hotel too, so if
you have any questions,the
receptionist staff will confirm it
directly to the club without any
difficulty for its guests. Salute to
Club Bali....!!!!
Get your credit card ready, because
just like any other hotel, when you
check in they will need a deposit
from you, for staying 4 nights the
deposit is RM 1000.
After checking in, we go directly to
our prepared and clean rooms. For
double bed room, we've got a King
size bed, while for twin bed
room,there's 2 bed with each bed size
is a Queen size bed,so it can fit in 2
adults, or 2 adults with one child in
one bed.
I think all the rooms is a SMOKING
room,because all the room has a
small terrace,where you can stand
outside the room for a panoramic
view. Room facilities just like any
standard hotel facilities except for
the iron complete with its ironing
board. All rooms has internet access
but you have to rent with RM 34 for 1
hour, RM 38 for 2 hours and RM 54
for 24 hours and it is base on real time
base.
The bathroom,is a real 5 stars, the
bathtub and shower is separated,
every equipment is clean,just like
new. Because the hotel using a

number one exhaust so it became one
with the air purifier and that's the
most satisfactory thing about the
bathroom is, it is odorless and very
dry thanks to the exhaust combine
with the air purifier. After unpacking
and take a bath, we go out for a dinner
but since it's already late at night, we
don't have any choice and try the
Japanese restaurant at the hotel. The
food and the price is quite reasonable
for a 5 stars hotel, the food taste is
quite good too just like in Jakarta.
After dinner, we go around the hotel
for a sight seeing, we can see a hotel
lounge with a live band music and its
spinning horse sculpture that rose
very high,with its cozy ambience,the
lobby lounge is a perfect place for
hangout. The band played 80-90's
songs,so it is quite familiar for every
one. From the lobby, you can see a 2
different wings,one wing is leading
to 3 hotel restaurants (Chinese,
Japanese and Italian) and 1 cake
shop, ball room, Bonsai Park and
Palace Club's meeting room. On the
other wings,there's a hotel facilities
like gymnasium, spa, waterfall,
swimming pools, garden and water
taxi. Guests can use this tourist's boat
for a river sightseeing by paying RM
15 and you can stopped at the nearest
mall by paying more.
The hotel's location is quite far from
the donwtown,you will need a taxi
for a sightseeing around the hotel
because there's no public
transportation. The taxi is always
available at hotel's lobby,whether
using an argometer or charter system.
It takes about one hour trip from the
hotel to Sunway Lagoon and to
Kuala Lumpur or Twin Tower,it
depends on what time you departed
from the hotel. Other tourist
destination that they quite proud of is
Putra Jaya government district,
where you can see the Malaysia
prime minister's office, convention
buildings and university areas, but
you must check again for the taxi
fare,they usually charge you an extra
fee to go to Putra Jaya. If you had
enough with the city, you can chart a
taxi to go to Genting Highland with
travel time about 1,5-2 hours, it is
better to leave early in the morning so
you can play the whole day there
On Christmas night the hotel staffs
sang the Christmas songs and the
Santa Claus gave out the Christmas
gifts for children. At 9 o'clock, the
live music band starts to performed
and we can participate in so many
games they prepared, if we don't sit at
the lounge we still can enjoy the band
from hotel's mezzanine lobby
Other interesting site you can see at
the hotel is the photographs of the
hotel visitors displayed at hotel's
wall, most of them are presidents or
prime ministers for all around the
world.Oh..by the way, on their last
year exhibition's to Malaysia, the
England's soccer team Manchester
United also staying at this very hotel.
Another info for Club Bali members,
knowing the location of the hotel, we
better prepared breakfast by
ourselves if we don't want to have
breakfast at the hotel with buffet
system or you can have snacks at the
Cake Shop.
In our overall experience staying at
Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel in
Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia, is very
satisfying. GREAT JOB CLUB
BALI.....!!!!!!

ew Years Eve, 2010! A Star
Trek event many believed
would be celebrated in spacecrafts
circling Jupiter! However
impossible that may sound the
impossible did occur! And that
was a successful New Years Eve
celebration at the Club Bali
Resort, Hawai'i!
With only days of preparation
(which really seemed like
minutes), the limited time was
spent planning and replanning a
party with the perfect dinner
menu. It was the kambing guling
and other delicious food that
attracted our guests to participate
in the festivities! A Musical
extravaganza was provided by
Ciligon's own XBeat Band with
lead singers Lilly and Mahler and
guitarist extraordinaire Mr. Tendi,
the bandleader! Cameo
appearances were made by GM
Mr. Hale Kinimaka and Guest
Relations Mgr. Kevin Aquino. Oh
yes! And we must not forget Club
Bali's own Diva Mrs. Sukma! She
wowed the crowd with her
beautiful voice and charming
personality! Other guests took part
in singing and the year was
brought in with a screaming
crescendo of trumpets! Happy
