Late risers can ascend to the summit with the help of the Sonnenbahn Speiereck 8-person cable
car and the Aineckbahn Katschberg chair lift. The vacation program includes daily events especially for children. A wonderful 18-hole golf course, a 9-hole par-3 course, and a 280 m long
driving range promise a magnificent golfing experience for every golfer. The PGA-certified golf
school offers beginners’ courses, course qualifying, and individual lessons for groups or single
persons including state-of-the-art video analysis.

Sports and recreation in St. Michael
A variety of coordination challenges with wood elements and ropes as well as a Flying Fox Park
demand the highest concentration from visitors of the adventure park on the Katschberg. Moreover, enjoy some leisurely inline skating and biking along the banks of the Mur. Adventure-seekers can choose between rafting or canyoning down the Mur, tandem paragliding or hang-gliding
from the Speiereck, as perhaps even some healthy paintball competition. For tennis fans, there
are outdoor clay courts. For fishers, our clear streams and lakes present you with the challenges
you have been looking for or a visit at the „Murinsel“ (Island at the mur-river) - a local recreation
of particular kind for tourists and locals.

As St. Michael is situated between the Grosseck - Speiereck and Katschberg - Aineck ski regions, you’ll have the opportunity to experience winter sports of every kind – snowboarding, iceskating, and cross-country skiing are just a few of the cold-weather activities you can experience
