MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC LAUNCH SITES IN THE COASTAL ZONE
REGULATIONS IN TERMS OF NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT:
INTEGRATED COASTAL MANAGEMENT ACT, 2008 (ACT NO. 24 OF 2008)

Sakhumzi Somyo, Member of the Executive Council (MEC) responsible for
Economic Development, Environmental Affairs and Tourism in the Province of the
Eastern Cape, acting in terms of Regulation 2 (1) of Management of Public Launch
Sites in the Coastal Zone Regulations in terms of National Environmental
Management: Integrated Coastal Management Act, 2008 (Act No. 24 of 2008), give
notice to publish in the Gazette the list of public launch sites. Comments are hereby
invited from the public before the final list is published in the Gazette.

Must have-
1. Management Body, as defined in the Regulations, appointed by the MEC or a
delegated Operator with a written agreement by Management Body.
2. Operational Plan and Environmental Management Plan.
3. Access fees, if applicable, approved by the Minister of Environmental Affairs.
