When you’re driving in your car and your road trip is missing a soundtrack,
then you’re missing Los Disidentes Del Sucio Motel, stoner rock band with a movie
imagery where Vincent Vega meets “General Lee” at Joshua Tree with Queens Of
The Stone Age, Fu Manchu or Clutch as background music. The kind of mixture that
stuffs your nose with sand, brings up desert landscapes to blow you away and gets
heavy sound into your ears!
Los Disidentes Del Sucio Motel is what is called in the music scene an
asphalt eater, a road monster! Made for live shows, the band has done over 160
concerts in France and in Europe since its creation 6 years ago, ranging from gigs
in bars to supporting act for bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Valient Thorr,
Karma to Burn, John Butler Trio, Tokyo Sex Destruction, Ufomammut, not to mention
the festivals or venues such as Léz’Arts Scéniques, Décibulles, La Foire au Vins de
Colmar, La Cigale or HELLFEST!
As for the discography, the band has not been short of work since it has
already released an EP in 2006 Room 159, a 45 vinyl record in 2007, a DVD of
their 2008 tour and a first album in 2010 on the Deadlight Entertainment label
(Undercover Slut, Loading Data, Primal age...) with Underclass in charge of the French
distribution. The album has been unanimously praised by French and international
critics and press (X-Road, Noise, HardRock mag, Powerglide, Wild Motorcycle...). They
all agree that LDDSM has become a leading heavyweight of the Stoner movement in
France! The album is currently being reedited for a new distribution abroad (Europe
+ Japan + USA).
In February 2012, a new 8 songs split vinyl with the band Flashfalcon, will be in
store. Always on Deadlight, this concept recording based on a parody of the legendary
musical movie West Side Story, will be limited at 500 copies and distributed by
Anticraft in France.
Their second album, its writing being now in the final stages, is planned for
early 2012.
On stage the band blows your mind, with influences from Kyuss to
Motörhead, with a stopover at Black Sabbath… 5 musicians, the Maverick brothers,
who give everything they have, under the inquisitive look of a merciless obnoxious
sheriff who is a law enforcement maniac.
Johnny « The Devil John » Maverick
Guitar
Johnny is an epicurean guy who loves women and good food. A rumor
says he sold his soul to the devil in order to sleep with Jenny, a Pink
Pussy stripper, a famous club in Las Vegas. He is the leader of the
movement in favor of reopening brothels.
Jonny is being sought for disturbing law and order, verbal assault,
assault and battery on police officer. He must be considered as
violent and aggressive.
Billy « The Mad Guy » Maverick
Drums
Billy had been on tour for 3 years with a heavy metal band. During
a gig in a Texan bar, he was seriously injured; his head was stuck in
a jukebox between a Dolly Parton and a Johnny Cash EP. Since this
day, he has psychiatric problems, including exhibitionism issues.
Billy is a recidivist criminal, sought for public indecency. Billy
Maverick is a clinical case of borderline person. He has a violent
temper, totally crazy and out of control.

Sonny « The Magic Finger » McCormick

Keyboard and Vocals
After being a wrestler in Mexico for ten years under the nickname
«the big bear », Bobby chose a new life in music. He hates the
whiskey « on the rocks ».
Bobby Maverick is being sought for violence. In Santa Fé, a barman
was promoting the whiskey « on the rocks », the police still doesn’t
know how his head has replaced the head of the bull up above the
bar counter.
Ex bass player of the heavy metal band Siderurgic Destruction.
Sonny Mc Cormick, running away from the British punk movement,
came to the USA with only ten dollars in his pockets. He tried to get
rich and cheated at a poker table in Las Vegas. But the mob broke all
his fingers. Fortunately, his forefinger and middle finger were spared.
Sonny Mac Cormick is being sought for murder. He is suspected to
have killed a customer of a bar in Albuquerque. Sonny apparently
smashed the guy’s face in the piano. When the police arrived, the
jukebox was still playing Flower of Scotland.
Francky « The Ice Screamer » Maverick
Guitar and Vocals
In order to buy his first guitar, Francky Maverick has worked as an ice
cream man. But one day, he discovered that his boss was a gang leader
who was selling drugs through Francky’s ice creams. Very upset, he blew
up the godfather’s illicit laboratory but lost his hearing ability.
Francky Maverick is being sought for making and dealing drugs, for
obstruction and proof destruction.
Mickaël Rudolvsky
Handcuffs and 357 MAGNUM
Mickaël Rudolsvky, who was born in Russia, works as a Sheriff in the
state of New Mexico. Since years, his only obsession is to capture the
Maverick brothers. That’s why he doesn’t stop hunting them and still
hopes to see them die in a state prison.

The club should be equiped by :
- One sound system wich is adapted to the capacity of the club
- One FOH console (front) with at least 24 tracks
- One rack with all the effects named above (Compressors, Gates, Processors [PCM80, M5000, SPX… etc])
Reverbs like SPX 900 (Yamaha), M One (TC electronique), PCM 70/80/90 (Lexicon Delays type D Two (TC electronique)
- At least 5 tracks for returns on auxiliary PRE Fader
For each circuit : - EQ 31 bandes 1/3 octave like Technik DN370/DBX 1231
Electric current necessary : electric power socket (220V 50Hz European Standard) (look on the stage plan)
