INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BAG INSTALLATION: 04881 BRUTE LARGE SISSY BAR BAG
WARNING
This system is recommended for use with a sissy bar/backrest and luggage rack combination which is permanently attached to
the motorcycle.
Do not exceed the manufactures recommended load capacity.
Consult your owner’s manual for tire inflation pressuers and gross axle weight rating. Failure to follow recommended weight
loading capacities may affect handling. This could result in property damage, injury and possibly death.
1. PREPARATION
▶ Tools required: scissors
▶ Place motorcycle on a secure & level surface
2. INSTALLATION
▶ BRUTE is a large bag that offers the packing capacity neded for long trips.
▶ This bag is designed to attach to the sissy bar/backrest of the bike and rest on the luggage rack or passenger seat.
▶ The Brute bag attaches to the sissy bar/backrest with three horizontal Velcro straps and two tie-down straps equipped
with quick release buckles for easy mounting and extra security. (Fig 1)
▶ Two loose anchor straps, with a loop at one end and a hook at the other, are provided. The anchor straps attach to
the back of the bag to for extra stability. (Fig 2)

2. INSTALLATION
▶ Open horizontal Velcro straps on the rear of the bag.
▶ Place bag on luggage rack or passenger seat.
▶ Loop Velcro straps around sissy bar/backrest in a way that is secure.
▶ Lace tie-down straps around backrest posts and re-attach them using the quick release buckles.
▶ Pull straps until tight and custom cut or secure excess strap to avoid straps getting entangled in any moving parts.
▶ Make sure the straps are not cut too short, burn cut ends to avoid fraying.
▶ Tie-downs should be hooked independently on each side.
▶ Avoid crossing or single hooking tie-downs. (Fig 1)
▶ Loop each anchor strap around a strong anchor point and attach the hooks at the other end of the strap to the lower
▶ D-rings on the back of the bag. Pull on the loose ends until tight. Cut or knott excess strap to avoid paint damage or
entanglement in moving parts. (Fig 2)
