Christopher Raeburn - ‘Ascent’
• Launched his collection at London Fashion Week’s HQ in Somerset House’s Courtyard Show Space.
• The UK’s leading sustainable designer continued his label’s approach of combining fashion with function, using reclaimed fabrics with alternative uses.
• The highlight was a group of vivid dresses and parkas in parachute
silk. The fabric was in its original bright pink - used by international
organisations to signify a delivery of aid.
• Block colours included navy, white, silver grey and soft khaki for outerwear,
with marble-effect map prints adorning silk dresses and jackets.
• Christopher’s signature backpacks featured and a small range of clutches
were added for the first time.

Fyodor Golan- ‘Press Play >’
• Experimental collection launched in the Vaults - a graffiti-covered
disused underground arch beneath Waterloo station.
• Colours were reminiscent of the early 90s - sugar pink, bubble
gum blue, iridescent holographs, and graphic neon.
• Embellishments included plastic floral appliqués, fake fur and yellow, orange and lime green neon stripes.
• The show was notable for its fusion of fashion and technology. All garments
featured integral lenses which projected live images of the collection on to an
inverted pyramid screen in the middle of the catwalk.

Wild Flower Prints
Wild florals burst into full bloom for S/S 15. Large in scale and grounded on dark backdrops, the blossoms overlap to create dramatic dimensions. This new floral print looks
lavish and elegant on long evening gowns and summer dresses.

Iridescent Shimmer
Lustrous lurex, shimmering lamé and fish-skin-inspired metallic materials shine on S/S 15 catwalks, updating knits, tunics and feminine dresses. Iridescent shimmer adds
surface interest to simple items, becoming one of the most directional material trends for the season.
