BOT Meeting
21st Century Learning
At present we are looking at what other
schools are doing in regard to 21st Century

of devices and whilst this is the future, more
importantly we will be focusing on how
children think and problem solve. We are
hoping
to
develop
an
independent
child –centered learning culture.
Devices will support this to ensure our
children are connected with this ever

Headlice Tip: With a growing resistance to
shampoos, one great tip is to use hair straighteners after
using the shampoo. This will help to keep those critters at
bay!
I went to playcentre. I played
with Gemma, Denby and
Emily. I pretended to cook
some food.
It was fish.

Firewood Fundraising
Unfortunately for the firewood working
party (but good for the farmers!) we had
rain again on Sunday. Because of the
unsettled weekend weather we are currently experiencing we will not have
another co-ordinated working party in
the near future. Instead, if people have
some time available when the weather
is fine, please go up to the corner of
Lookout Rd and Hinerua Rd Extension
and either continue to cut up rings or
split firewood. Also, there is already a
reasonable amount of pine already
split, so it would be great if people
could take away loads of firewood, and
make a donation to the school office for
what you think it is worth. If you want to
take away rings of wood (pine and or
macrocarpa) that would also be great. If
you have any queries please give me a
call on 022 091 1850.
Cheers,
Kevin Williams
