The overall objective of the Project is to improve the
administrative capacity and efficiency of the Revenue
Administration in line with the Fiscal Blueprints and to align
the Turkish tax system with that of the EU directives.
Technical Assistance for Improving
Participatory Strategic Governance at
Local Level
The overall objective of the Project, initiated by Ministry of Interior,
General Directorate of Local Administrations, is to increase the scope
of Local Administration Reform in Turkey by improving the capacity of
local governments to enhance participatory strategic governance at the
local level. Specifically, the Project aims at increasing the strategic planning
capacity of local governments; increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of
urban councils and enhancing participatory decision-making culture at the
local level.

Economic and Social Integration
Problems in İstanbul, İzmir, Ankara
and Bursa as Major In-Migrant
Destinations
The overall objective of the Project is to reduce urban disparities
for all citizens through enhanced economic, social and cultural
opportunities. The Project thus intends to provide support to
İstanbul, İzmir, Ankara and Bursa Municipalities to increase
institutional capacity to mitigate socio economic integration
and environment related problems resulting from migration and
to rehabilitate and reintegrate street children into society in the
targeted districts.

The Project aims at strengthening contacts and mutual
exchange of experience between civil society in the EU
Member States and Turkey, ensuring a better knowledge

Turkey.

The overall objective of the Project is to decrease the
negative impacts caused by rapid migration in certain urban
areas in Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Erzurum and Şanlıurfa. The
Project, hence intends to help the solution of economic and

environmental infrastructure problems along with problems of
social integration in these selected provinces in a multi-actored
way. It is also aimed to improve the capacity of local administrations
by implementing joint projects and to build the local capacity for
developing the quality, quantity and types of services to be offered
by local authorities so as to enhance the utilization of resources.
