On October 10, 2014, the Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley
(FRCSCV) was recognized by Parents as Teachers as a recipient of
the Losos Prize for Innovation. The national award acknowledges
excellence and innovation in services to young children and their
families, delivered through affiliates of the local Parents as Teachers
(PAT) program.
“Family Resource Center of the St. Croix Valley has set the standard
for blending Parents as Teachers and primary health care. FRCSCV has
proven that home visiting partnerships with health agencies can transform
the lives of young parents and put their children on a strong path to good
health, literacy and school success. Your work is also serving to reduce
poverty by focusing on the well-being of entire families.”
