ABOUT THE COMPETITION
All interested middle and high school students may submit one song or one
piece of artwork no larger than 18” x 18” x 18” either digitally or via You Tube
by November 25th. A select panel of judges will narrow the vocal submissions
down to semi-finalists. Additionally, there will be two “people’s choices” based on
voting by family and friends on your YouTube submission.
December 9– Vocal SEMI-FINALS will be held.
February 24 – VOICES concert featuring all finalists and special guest star(s).
All contestants will be invited to participate in the finale.
1st PRIZE
Vocal – One day in a recording studio
Artist – Artwork displayed in the lobby of the Nutrition Center in Israel as well
as a summer scholarship to Maryland Institute College of Art.
All contestants will receive a memorable gift.

Today, 837,300 Israeli children, more than 2 out of 5, are living below the poverty
line. Children are going to school hungry, coming home hungry, and going to
bed hungry.
Meir Panim, which means “lighting faces,” was founded in 2000 and is committed
to providing relief with dignity to Israel’s impoverished.
Now Meir Panim is building a revolutionary new facility that will take its work even
further. The Israel Nutrition Center in Kiryat Gat will offer relief to disadvantaged
families in the Negev and throughout the country. The 50,000 square foot facility
will host the largest food production facility in Israel, providing up to 30,000
meals each day for needy children and families, in addition to creating new jobs
for local residents.
