(including the equipment of the Japanese company JGC). Production process of microspherical cracking catalyst was
developed by the KNT group, combining the best achievements of Western manufacturers.
"Sterlitamak Catalysts Plant", Ltd is a new innovation company, equipped by Haldor Topsoe company (Denmark) and
other leading European and Japanese companies, specialized in the production of catalysts for hydrogenation processes.
We suggest you to consider the direction of possible cooperation in sorbents and catalysts supplies.
1. FCC catalysts (microspherical cracking catalysts).
In May, 2012 Iranian Abadan Oil Refining CO. began purchasing cracking catalysts of our production that demonstrates a
successful and quality work - gasoline yield increased from 38.05% (July, 2012) to 46.10% (January, 2013). Under the
same conditions and the same raw materials consumption it will make possible to receive additional 190,000 tons of
gasoline a year, for the sum of about 190 million dollars. Review is available.
The successful experience of the cracking catalyst "Octifine-480P" usage at the cracking unit in "Bashneft - Ufa Oil
Refinery" allowed to increase the yield of gasoline from 44.91% to 54.98% in December, 2012. (54.26% in October 2012).
According to MON increased from 82.8 to 83.5, according to the research method - from 94.1 to 94.4. Thus, the yield of
gasoline per 1 ton of used raw material increased to 22.4%. Under the same conditions and the same raw materials
consumption it will make possible to receive an additional 210,000 tons of gasoline a year, for the sum of about 210
million dollars. Review is available.
We want to note that there are no any risks in using cracking catalyst. Fresh catalyst loading is performed gradually and
in the case of a slight deterioration in the process one can immediately stop the loading of new catalyst and resume
loading of previously used catalyst.
2. Catalysts of hydrogenation processes.
KNTgroup offers a wide range of hydrotreating and hydrocracking catalysts of a new generation, manufactured with the
help of advanced production techniques. Catalysts have a high catalytic activity and tailored to the needs of a particular
customer. Catalysts of the company aren't inferior on quality to catalysts of leading global manufacturers, thus the price of
catalysts of our production is much lower. Besides the Russian deliveries, some successful foreign supplies to a number
of the Iran enterprises were carried out including Emam Khomeini Shazand Arak Oil Refining Company (AORC) , where
260 MT of hydrocracking catalyst was delivered , and Tehran Oil Refining Company with hydrotreating catalyst of
kerosene and diesel fractions deliveries. Supplied catalysts completely conform the stated specifications and demonstrate
the successful operation.
All catalysts deliveries accompanied by the appropriate technical service and maintenance, which includes a range of
services for loading, unloading, sieving, activation, regeneration and passivation of the catalysts, the monitoring unit
working at all operation stages of the catalytic system, the provision of qualified recommendations for improvement of
hydrotreating units, the analysis of spent catalysts, and many other things.
3. Synthetic zeolites, adsorbents.
High quality of synthetic zeolite and adsorbents of our production has been repeatedly confirm by various comparative
tests of the largest design institutes and by product consumers.
High values of the main operation parameters are reached in the conditions of commercial production with our zeolites.
Thus, the largest processor of oil-dissolved gas in Russia, JSC “SIBUR” completely transferred all the gas-processing
capacities for loading by adsorbents of the KNTgroup production. It is 7 largest gas refineries and 11 gas processing
units with a total regular 2000 MT adsorbent loading.
Besides, adsorbents of our production are widely used in the drying and gas purification units of oil and gas refineries,
petrochemical plants of JSC “Gasprom”, JSC “Surgutneftegas”, JSC “ Lukoil”, JSC”Rosneft”, JSOC “Bashneft” , and also
on the plants of near and far abroad such as NHK “Uzbekneftegas”(Uzbekistan), “Turkmengas” State Concern
(Turkmenistan), «SOCAR» (Azerbaijan), Lavan (Iran), «Belorusneft» State production association
(Belarus), JSC
«KazMunaiGas EP» (Kazakhstan) and so on.

SOLUTION:
1. Note that the Russian Federation has the full scientific, technical, industrial and human resources to
ensure all processes of refining industry by modern competitive catalysts.
2. Modern production of catalysts put into operation in the Republic of Bashkortostan:
• FCC Microspherical catalyst of cracking production started on Ishimbay specialized chemical plant
of catalysts (ISCPC) with capacity of 20 thousand tons per year based on equipment supplied by the
corporation IGC (Japan). As for technical characteristics the Russian catalyst sit tight to foreign
catalysts, and the price is much lower.
• A new line for the production of catalysts for hydrotreating and hydrocracking with the capacity of
4 tons per year was launched on Sterlitamak Catalysts Plant on the basis of complete lines supplied by the
company «Haldor Topsoe» (Denmark).
3. To recommend to use the catalyst for cracking , produced by “ISCPC” "Ishimbaisky SKHZK" at
JSC "Ufa refinery," which is sit tight to foreign catalysts , and also exceed them in the gasoline output
for a few percent.
4. To note that competitive technology of Microspherical cracking catalysts was created on JSC
"Gazprom Neft-Omsk Refinery”
5. To draw the attention of the inspecting authorities on the negative practices in the catalysts supply
by short-lived companies where the supplied price of the catalyst is much lower than their real value. Such
business must be excluded.
6. To all interested organizations, including the oil companies to conclude the need for pilot units
on the basic processes of Oil Refinery plants in accordance with the decision of the meeting with the
Prime Minister D.A. Medvedev in Rostov-on-Don at 17.08.2012.
7. To consider necessary of ANN members participation in the Working catalysts Group, with the
Ministry of Energy of Russia and the development of support programs of the basic catalysts production
growth of oil refining and petrochemical industries in Russia on a level with the highest world standards.
8. To consider on the meeting of the Working Group on the catalysts, with the Russian Energy
Ministry the proposal about the reunification of sub-sector of catalyst production for oil refining and
petrochemical industries.
9.For SB RAS to develop a program of independent testing facilities (laboratories) for testing catalysts
for oil refining and petrochemical industries. In cooperation with ANN to contact the Ministry of Energy,
Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Russian for the proposals to support data centers.
10. For SB RAS to prepare proposals for the establishment of pilot (experimental) units center for
testing new catalytic processes on a basis of industrial raw materials, to determine the range of such units
and their performance for the subsequent development of industrial processes.
11. Initiate the establishment in the Russian Federation Government the complex target program of
development and implementation of Russian catalysts and catalytic technologies for the world level.
Complex target program should include the development of basic technologies, the pilot experimentalindustrial units , as well as personal responsibility for the financing and implementation of the program.

Dear Sir,
We herewith present the reference of cracking catalyst Oсtifine-480P performance
processed in the unit G-43-107M/1 which is operated in Basneft-Ufa Oil Refinery, a brunch of
JSOC Bashneft. This reference is issued to arrange an article for the designated magazine.
The substitution of the foreign catalysts for Oсtifine-480P was realized since the end of
November, 2011. A steady increase of gasoline yield was observed during the whole period of
catalyst Octifine-480P loading to the unit G-43-107M/1 of the mentioned refinery. Performance
data of the unit G-43-107M/1 is shown in the following table. Covering the period is from June
to December 2012.
