I greet you in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.
We are excited that He has favored this gathering of the Southwestern Region.
We are certain that God will pour out his Spirit upon all delegates who
attend. We have prayed and fasted and according to his word, it is so!
Many thanks to the host jurisdiction in Las Vegas Nevada. Especially Bishop
Leon Smith and Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ. We whole heartily
appreciate the labor of the Jurisdictional Presidents, Chairladies and youth
workers in the Southwest region. Words cannot express our gratitude for who
you are and what you have been called to be in the kingdom. Please know that
your labor is not in vain and harvest is nigh. We trust that you will embrace
the vision of our International President and Chairlady that we as leaders
will "Move forward in Pursuit of Excellent Youth Ministry."
Be determined to do something different in order to render different results.
God has nothing but the best plan for you, but you have to seek God. He will
reveal his purpose and mandate upon your life. Don't stop until you get it!

Greetings to the Southwest Regional family in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ who has set His love and seal of approval on our Southwest Region and this
year’s MY Rally here in the city of Las Vegas, NV. We are thankful to our leaders of
the International Youth Department in the personage of President Dr. B. Stephens III
and Chairlady J. Rodgers, for their example of leading in servitude, strength and
humility! Our region gives special thanks to the state of Nevada and to their prelate
Bishop Leon Smith for their hospitality.
Under the leadership of our Regional President, the best Regional President on the
planet I might add, our theme is "Back to Basics!' Back to Basics in prayer, fasting,
and the principles of bible teaching. We are believing God through our leadership
teams preparation, prayers and fasting for this year’s Rally that souls will be saved,
habits will be broken, families will be healed, young people will be filled with the
baptism of the Holy Ghost, and this will be the generation that will take the church to
a place in power that has never been seen or known since the Day of Pentecost! So
with that said this generation shall restore us Back to B.A.S.I.C.S. in Bible, Anointing,
Salvation, Identity, Consecration, and Sanctification in Jesus name! It is normally
said "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" but this is a holy assembly so the
Southwest Region declares "WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS SHALL GO OVER ALL THE
WORLD!"

We Believe!
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN GOD
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the
Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN THE BLESSED HOPE
We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ,
at His return.
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN REPENTANCE
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance, and faith in
the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized with water.
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN SALAVATION
We believe that the regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal
salvation.
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human
body in answer to believing prayer.
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN THE HOLY GHOST
We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who
ask for Him.
WE AFFIRM OUR FAITH IN SANCTIFICATION
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling, the Christian is
enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

Evangelist Markita L. Knight
Markita is a native of Los Angeles, CA. She was
raised to love and serve the Lord with all of her
heart, soul, and mind. Since a child, she has loved
to sing the God’s praises and give glory to his
name.
She is a member at the West Angeles Church of
God In Christ. She serves as the Jurisdictional
Minister of Music for the Southern California First
Jurisdiction COGIC. She is a licensed Evangelist
in the COGIC serving under Bishop Joe L. Ealy
and Mother Barbara McCoo Lewis.
As a singer, songwriter, and speaker, she has traveled the world teaching and expounding the Word
of God and singing with some of the greatest and
well known talents of our time such as Andrae’
Crouch, Donald Lawrence, Kurt Carr and the Kurt
Carr Singers, Kirk Franklin, Dr. Judith Christie
McAllister, Guy Penrod of the Gaither Vocal Band,
Beverly Crawford, Micah Stampley, and many,
many more.
Her motto and favorite scripture is Phillipians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that He which
hath begun a good work in you shall perform until
